Hello! My name is Jessie. I am a 36 year old dog lover living in Berkeley with my husband, Taj. Taj and I are both lifelong dog owners of various breeds, and absolutely love that we can continue having dogs in our life with Rover! Dogs give so much love and joy and we have so much love to give in return. I have grown up with dogs my whole life, from puppies to seniors. I had a Black Lab, a Cavalier king charles spaniel, my Coton de Tulear, and a rescued lab mix from North Shore. Taj grew up with dogs as well, from chihuahuas to gentle giant breeds. I took care of the Bentley, the puppy lab mix from 8 weeks old until around his first birthday. During that time before he went to his forever home, we went through all kinds of situations. There were daily trips to the small (and then big!) dog park, chewed shoes and training lessons, snuggles on the couch, and lots of unconditional love. There were a few emergency late night vet trips (from issues picked up in the shelter), potty training - to sum it up, I learned more than from this amazing, energetic, loving dog than I ever imagined. By nature, I am responsible, clean, empathetic, and I have become very knowledgeable about what to do if various situations should arise with your pet. Animals tend to love me because they can see how comfortable I am with them immediately. Mostly, we would just have a great time! If you need a pet sitter in a pinch: We got you! Meet my pets 0 pets at this time About my yard I have a backyard that is mostly gravel, but the front is a low-key street with grass along the sidewalk. My experience administering medication Yes, I do feel comfortable administering medication. From eye drops to pills and liquid oral medication; I am experienced with this and will do what is needed. I have the pill covers that dogs love, hotspot medication, etc.
