My wife and I are lifetime dog lovers who can't wait to welcome your pup into our home. Our 3 story detached house with a large (XL by DC standards) securely fenced yard gives your dog plenty of space to get comfortable and play during their stay. Our 2 year old standard poodle, Elvis, is a well-socialized companion for dogs of any size. We take dog walks in the nearby Arboretum and park and will treat your pup like our own. If you are comfortable with it, we can take your dog to the local dog park for more play time. Let us know if your dog has any special needs we can help with! We are no strangers to energetic breeds or cautious canines.

Jake is very consciousness and a great sitter for my pet Westie who is getting up in age and becoming increasingly senile. I've used Rover all the time - taking her to the sitter's home. However, I decided that it is best to have a sitter come my my town home from now on when I am traveling rather than taking her to someone's home where she will get confused and may need to interact with other dogs . Jake took her on long walks, spent time with her during her waking hours, and took care of feedings and medicines. Jake shows an affection for dogs and he has been very accommodating.
Jake and Nissa are the perfect couple to watch your furry loved ones while you are away. They did an amazing job of taking care of our dog which included sharing pictures of his stay and providing updates as to how he was behaving with their dog Elvis. The ability for our dog, Dino, to have a large backyard in The District and another furry friend to play with will along with the caring nature he recieved have us being return customers of theirs for a long time. Thanks to Jake and Nissa!
