25 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Let your dog relax and play while your away.

I am an animal lover who has had dogs big and small my whole life looking to give your best friend and you a relaxing time away. I work from home so there is almost always someone home to keep the dogs company, except for quick errands to the store. In addition to myself, I also have a teenage son who is here to help as well throughout the Summer and after school.

Our pup is a 1 1/2 year old, very active Vizla who loves to play with other dogs. He is very friendly and gets along great with other dogs. He does like to jump and can play hard so he is best with larger, active dogs that like to play and wrestle and can keep up with him and his energy. One of the reasons we have decided to do this besides our love of dogs, is to give him some new friends and playmates. A tired dog is a happy dog and that is how we like him. Running and playing are 2 of his favorite activities but he also enjoys chasing balls and trying to catch the Frisbee.

We also have 2 resident cats who have been around dogs their entire lives and know how to run and hide if they do not want to play but we do ask that visiting dogs do not have issues with harming cats and putting them at risk or a high prey drive.

We have a large fenced yard with grass to run and play as well as a wooded area for hide and seek. A doggy door is open all day and most of the evening so dogs are free to come and go at their leisure. We live less than 2 miles from a dog friendly park where your dog can be taken for evening walks if they prefer that over playing in the yard. Since we do have woods, ticks can occasionally be found so we encourage visiting pets to have been treated with a flea and tick preventative.

The bottom floor of our home is available for dogs to walk freely around and our furniture has already been broken in and is pet friendly. Our dog is crate trained and does sleep in his crate at night. If your pet has a crate and uses it, please bring it along. It is nice for visiting dogs to have a nice quiet place that they feel safe in to make them feel at home. If they do not have a crate but do have their own beds, please bring those as well.

We do request that visiting dogs have been neutered or spayed as at this time, our dog is currently intact. Also, we only take pets that are housebroken and can potty outside. We are pet lovers and do understand that accidents can happen but we would like to keep accidents to a minimum and since my dog likes to eat things, pee pee pads would never work for us. At this time we do not take puppies under the age of 12 months.

We can be flexible with pick up and drop off times as we know traffic is not always predictable. We would like to try and avoid drop off before 9 am and pickups after 7 PM. but we can be flexible in certain cases. If you need different times, please let me know and we can discuss them. Additional fees for earlier and later pickups may apply.

To make sure our dogs are a good fit and everyone will be safe and happy, I highly recommend arranging a meet and greet with us prior to booking.

Please note that dog breeds that fall into the excessive drooler category will carry an extra fee of $5.00 per 24 hour period.

For the month of December, we have not decided if we wish to offer boarding that month at this time. If we do choose to offer it, we will only be taking dogs who have been good previous guests and we know since we will have decorations and things out that could be hazardous for some animals. If you are a previous guest and would like to check our December availability, please message me with the dates you are interested in.

If you have additional questions, please send me a note and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Kimberly took such great care of our sweet pup, Max! You could tell right away that she loves dogs so much and we left for our vacation feeling at peace about where Max was staying. He came back exhausted from running around with her dog, Dexter, who was a perfect playmate. We would definitely would recommend Kimberly. Especially if you have a high energy, playful pup!

I have 2 labs, 1 that plays obsessively and the other that acts like a nervous cat. Kimberly had quite the task in dealing with these 2 and she did a great job! The OCD ball fetcher came home exhausted and happy, and is disappointed we don't indulge him they way Kimberly and her family did! As for the nervous dog, he had trouble adjusting but Kimberly did everything she could to make him comfortable. She made sure he was eating and sleeping, and he shadowed her everywhere she went so she kept her eye on him. I'm sure he'll be more comfortable next time. Also, I appreciate the fact that she allowed us to do a Meet & Greet beforehand for peace of mind, and for the boys to get acquainted with their dog and cats. We will be using Kimberly again for sure!!!

As always, Kimberly and her family did a great job with Kaiya! We are always comforted knowing that she's in good hands.
Kimberly did a wonderful job with our very active young vizsla. He had so much fun and came home happy and tired. Awesome! Would certainly use her again.
This was my first time boarding my dogs with anyone other than a doggy daycare. Kimberly made me feel very comfortable leaving my dogs with her. We exchanged information about our dogs first and when we decided it was a good fit, we did a meet and greet. I was very happy with that visit. My dogs are use to being let in and out throughout the day with almost an acre to roam. Kimberly has a doggy door (that my two wore out haha) with a large backyard. My dogs are also, not allowed on furniture at home. They were spoiled at Kimberly's, as the dogs were allowed to relax on whichever couch they chose. Kimberly kept me updated on how they were doing with pictures and messages everyday. She did a great job of keeping them busy because my two were exhausted when they came home. Happy and exhausted. I definitely trust her and her family with my dogs and have already scheduled another weekend of boarding with them.
Thanks for taking really good care of Bentley and Layla. Tell Dexter we said Hi! :)

having first done a "meet n greet" before boarding my dog made me feel confident that her stay with Kimberly would be a success and after leaving her this past weekend proved me right. Bailey was well cared for and I appreciated the photo from Kimberly to let me know all was Ok. My dog came home content and totally exhausted which is a good thing! Will be boarding her again with no worries. Thanks Kimberly!

The whole boarding experience with Kimberly from start to finish could not have been easier or had a better result. Max seems to have met some great new friends. He is a 10 year old Labrador/Mix. I wholeheartedly recommend her and her family and will definitely board him with them again. I could tell that she genuinely cares for Max and he had a great time staying there.

Our dog Buddy was well cared for, without question. He was able to go in and out just like at home because of the dog door and the very well kept property which was fenced. Kimberly kept us updated on how Buddy was doing on a daily basis, pictures included. We were able to enjoy ourselves on our trip without worrying. I will without a doubt be utilizing her service anytime we have to go out of town if she is available. I highly recommend her.

Kimberly is very professional and caring. She kept us informed of the adjustment our girls were making with pictures and notes. Daisy and Ellie's needs were met and they were treated exceptionally well. We will definitely want her to care for them again.

Kimberly and her family were fantastic! Very laid back and welcoming. I have two puppies, 14 months and 9 months, and she took it all in stride. Big backyard, doggie door so pets can come and go as they please and her dog , Dexter, was a great playmate for my two girls. I would highly recommend Kimberly and will not hesitate to use her again when my babies need a home away from home!

Kimberly was great with communication and it was obvious she and her family truly love dogs. I have a Weimaraner that they spoiled while my family and I were out of town. We were happy to find doggy daycare even happier to of found Kimberly.
Kimberly and her family were AMAZING to my pup, Kaiya. They immediately put me at ease upon meeting them and truly loved on and spoiled Kaiya the entire time. I felt so comfortable while I was gone because they continuously stayed in touch and sent lots of pictures. There's no doubt in my mind that Kaiya had a blast, loved having another furry friend to play with and felt completely at home while visiting. I will definitely be staying in touch with them for next time!
