US AND OUR DOGS:
Our happy, healthy dog-centered home is a perfect place for your dog to stay, play, snooze, and just hang out!
We are avid dog lovers with flexible schedules. One of us is home more often than not.
We try to include our dogs in most everything we do. They're by our side, whether we're gardening, sunbathing, swimming, jogging, walking, cooking, or curled on the sofa watching Law and Order re-runs. Our dogs live inside with us -- they're our best friends! -- but love sitting on the deck, playing in the fenced yard, or hiking around Lake Georgetown.
YOUR DOGS WITH US:
We want to provide a SAFE, LOVING, WELCOMING environment where your dog (and you) will be cared for like one of the family. I know what it's like to be anxious when you have to leave your pup in the care of others because they are like children, such a fundamental part of our lives. I'm eager to provide warm, secure care for someone else who might also struggle finding a quality -- yet affordable -- place for pooch to stay when not in your lovin' arms.
We'd walk your pup daily, clean/bathe 'em if needed, feed them according to your directions, seek medical help in an emergency, and provide lots of snuggles.
Treating your dog as an individual is important to us. Grain-free? No treats after 8PM? Hate carrots? Sleep with a special red Kong? No problem! Just let me know! Our goal is to treat you and your pup(s) like part of our family while still providing care according to YOUR specific instructions! Your pup is YOUR pup after all -- even if loungin' around with us.
Also more than willing to text daily pics and updates to you while you're away to give you the latest on your dog's canine adventures!
A WORD ON SAFETY:
Not to sound paranoid, but I'll mention this because it would be important to me were I the one seeking doggy care: I am particularly cautious and vigilant in making sure my dogs are safe at all times. I closely monitor the dogs when outside, even though we have a fenced in yard, and double-check the house for any safety hazards whenever I'm not in the room. I make sure there's never any toxic food (e.g. onion, chocolate, raisins, etc.) even remotely in reach, that all doors are fully closed, that no power cords are accessible to the pups. For what it's worth, I'm overly protective about the safety of my dogs and would be about yours, as well. :)
Look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!!
