About Sue

We are a family that does not have a dog of our own right now, but would love to watch yours while you are on vacation or out of town for work. We have a safe fenced yard in our single family home and have been dog sitting for our friends and neighbors for the past 2 years. Dogs that enjoy catch can get their fill in the yard with the kids. Dogs that love to chill out, get plenty of petting and brushing. We can watch up to 2 dogs (only from the same family) at once. Your dogs will get plenty of attention and be part of the family instantly. Mom is home during the day. We are not skilled dog trainers so cannot handle severe behavioral issues. But if you're looking for your sweet pups to have a loving home for their 'vacation' and be the only dog(s) in the house, please send me a Meet & Greet!

Sue took care of our dog, a high energy 2 year old, for an entire week last Spring. We were worried about leaving him for so long while we were out of town, but our worries were met with Sue's reassurance and confidence that it would be a great experience for all. When we returned, it was clear that he was well loved by Sue's family, and comfortable in their home. Even now when we see any of them around the neighborhood, he remembers them and gives them a proper family style greeting, which is the best testament to a good stay that I could have hoped for!!!

Recently, we needed a last minute pet sitter for our dog, Daisy. Sue was happy to help out. Sue and her family treated Daisy like part of their family. They took Daisy for walks and played with her. During this time, Daisy was separated from our other dog so she needed some extra attention. Sue provided the TLC Daisy required. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that Daisy was in good hands. I highly recommend Sue for your next pet sitter.

I wouldn't trust anyone but a fellow dog lover to watch over my dogs! Sue took in our dogs while my husband I were away on our honeymoon and I didn't worry about them at all. She walked them several times a day, gave them endless love and attention and played fetch for HOURS. They can't wait to go back!

Sue and her family did a great job keeping Sasha company while we were away. I especially enjoyed the texts with pics and updates periodically. We could tell our girl was happy and received plenty of attention even though we weren't here to give it to her. Helped us feel a little less guilty when we returned.

Sue (and family) are wonderful pet sitters!! Sue had never watched our dog before - we were in a bind because we were leaving in a few days for a week long cruise and our dog sitter had backed out. Sue kindly agreed to pet sit our dog, Dory, even though she was pet sitting another dog the week before, and leaving for vacation the day we would return. Sue sent me regular updates about how Dory was doing and the adventures and walks they had taken. It was great to know that Dory was in great hands. After we returned, Sue's daughter stopped by the house to drop off one of Dory's toys that we had forgotten to pick up. When Dory saw her she started wagging her tail. It was obvious that Dory was very excited to see her and had enjoyed her stay at her house. ????

Sue took excellent care of my Cavalier while I was out of town. From our first meeting, her love of dogs was evident. There was no doubt that Riley would be safe, enjoy plenty of exercise and get lots of love. Through the DogVacay app, Sue shared updates about his activities to keep my mind at ease. Great family, great neighborhood, great experience. I highly recommend Sue and will be making more reservations in the future. Thank you!

This is the first time I left my dog Sophie with someone other than my family. Sue was amazing watching my dog. Sophie felt right at home and it gave me great comfort in leaving her. I would absolutely use Sue again! Cathy V.
Sue and her family took great care of our pup Brutus. She sent frequent pictures of him enjoying his "vacay". Communication was easy as well. We will be return customers in the future when we need care for him again. Thanks so much Sue!
