Will Treat Your Pets Like Mine!

Pet care experience

I am a at home business owner with a large home and over a decade of training and pet sitting experience. I have a medium - large size yard, have 3-4 parks within driving distance and our neighborhood is a great place to walk dogs. I have a doberman, Juno, who is a sweetheart and loves other dogs! Juno, has been trained by me to be a Canine Good Citizen and Certified Service Pet. I have a German Shepherd/Lab named Findley and A working German Shepherd Penny! My daily life and routine revolve around my animals so they have the most consistent schedule for them to behave and be their happiest. I hope to instill that same routine and expectations onto your dog or puppy! I live in a nice neighborhood that love animals and is away from dangerous intersections etc. There are many paths and parks near my home and I ensure that my dog and yours too will have 2 long walks during the day and let outside frequently. If I am gone for a meeting or errand I am usually never gone for more than 4 hours at a time and your dog will be in a crate so they will be safe from harm! Otherwise, they will be supervised by me whenever I am home. I offer in-home training packages for puppies or young dogs that result in house and/or crate training, socialization to other dogs, cats, and various environments, prevention of separation anxiety and the beginnings of basic obedience such as nipping, chewing, jumping up, etc. Most visits range from 2-4 weeks where you are welcome to visit your pup at any time! Some include sit, lay down, stay, come when called, heeling on a leash, being able to be brushed, bathed, etc. May of these obedience skills can be of use for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Title, which if you chose to have them tested, may result in lower home owners insurance and a multitude of other advantages. I use positive reinforcement, occasionally a professional grade collar for corrections, and will never use an electronic collar. When it comes to live with you, he/she will be a great addition to your home! I also have two cats, Melvin and Monster. If your animal gets along with cats and/or dogs, this is the place for your pets while you are away! I have previous kennel experience and my fiance and I have ran our pet sitting business for over 7 years. About this sitter: I have 12 years of in-home pet sitting for a multitude of animals and lengths of time. I do not have a problem staying at houses in order to make your animals comfortable while you are away. I am a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and trainer. When I am not pet sitting, I run my own mobile clothing boutique! 9years of in-home pet sitting 2 years of working at a boarding/day care facility 5years of dog training (obedience/working dog/service animal/search and rescue) Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs since I was born. I pet sat in high school and ran my own business in college. I have 2 years of kennel experience as well. When I got my own first dog, I wanted her to play well with others so I trained her to receive her canine good citizen certificate and am now a certified evaluator for the AKC. I work with a training facility here in town and I have gained experience and had success in training her to be a certified service dog and I am currently teaching her to search for lost articles. Meet my pets I have two cats, a black cat who tolerates dogs and a half housecat half siamese that acts like a dog and has no problem with dogs. He is a great cat that I rescued and who is a first cat for anyone who wants their dog to like and/or tolerate them :) About my yard I have a larger backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence. Lots of green grass and toys to play with! My experience administering medication Yes, I had to do it many times in my pet sitting experience and kennel experience

Huck had a great stay with Christine and Juno. We were in a bind for Huck at the last minute, and Christine was so easy to work with. She made us feel comfortable leaving him. Additionally, when we got home, Huck was still following our training and you could tell Christine was very deliberate to make this happen. Thanks, Christine!

Christine was fantastic! She has a well trained dog and is very into dog training like we are, so we knew we were leaving Marvel in good hands and that he wouldn't forget his training while he was there. Her house is a great situation for the dogs with plenty of space to play and she has a cute little fenced in yard. She took them on walks together and gave him a lot of attention as she was home often. We will most definitely use Christine again and highly recommend her!

Christine has been watching my dogs for almost 2 years now and is always reliable when I need her. I travel a lot for work so being able to rely on her with my ever changing schedule is very important and she has never let me down. My dogs absolutely love her and I feel relieved to be able to leave them with someone who cares about them almost as much as I do.

Information Christine C. would like to know about your pet

I prefer medium to large size breeds, and females or neutered males. I like to know what schedule they are on, any behavioral issues to watch out for, whether he/she is crate trained, etc.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I usually walk around the neighborhood and trails. I always give my dog 2 walks a day and for about 20-30 minutes each time. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Either on a bed on the floor or in its crate, whichever is better. Time I'll spend with your dog I am usually only gone about 2-3 hours out of the day, a lot of those days the hours are not in a row. Time I'll spend with your dog I plan on spending at least 6-8 hours a day with your dogs! Extra house-sitting services Sure! Anything I can do to make your stay away easier!
