I am a freelance filmmaker and often have days off or work from home while editing. I have a wonderful corner property and a nice backyard where I often work during the summer months. Anytime I'm at home I am often looking for an excuse to get outside, whether for a walk, run or bike ride, and would love to incorporate some pets into my routine. Making some money is a nice benefit, but I am mostly looking for some company and a dog would be a great companion, and a nice excuse to take a regular break from my computer. My family had a lhasa apso and I have enjoyed looking in on two friends pets (a dog and a cat) when they are in need. Because I've only been in a house for a few years and my schedule is unpredictable, I haven't made the dive into full time pet ownership yet, but this could be a good transition for me.
