Large Breed Lover, Nursing Student

Pet care experience

Since moving to Boston four years ago, I've been unable to have a dog of my own at my apartment... Something I had to learn to get used to! Thankfully I've received permission from my landlord to board dogs in my apartment now! Spending time with dogs is truly my passion, and it's something I've been able to incorporate into my regular routine.

This was our dog's second stay with Cate. When we first arrived this time, Hannah was so happy to see her. When I turned to leave, the drama that had occurred the first time I left her wasn't there, thank goodness. Bottom line she gets both dog and owners approval and should get a sixth star.

Cate is in a class of her own. Kind, caring and the perfect person to take care of your important family member. If you are at all nervous about leaving your dog, she is the right person to turn to. I have already booked our dog's next stay with her.

Cate went out of her way to pick my dogs up and drop them off for me at my home. She has excellent communication skills, obviously loves dogs and they obviously love her back! I would have Cate care for my two duck-tollers again in a heartbeat!!

Cate's stay with Raffi allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our vacation! She's responsible and flexible. We got daily reports and photos, which eased our worries, since he's not used to us being away. Cate's definitely a dog lover, but it was good to know she's also a skilled dog handler. We'd have her stay with Raffi again in a heartbeat!

Why I love dog sitting Always! I've had a dog at home since I can remember. My family has had two Brittany Spaniels, a 100+ lb. Golden Retriever, and various dogs that have literally shown up on our doorstep! We've never turned one down, and I don't plan on it either!

I have a few favorite breeds and something tugs at my heartstrings when I see larger breeds, but I honestly love all dogs! Any furry company is welcome with me.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks Around your neighborhood where your dog is most familiar. I'm willing to go on adventures or to parks if he/she is interested, too. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever he/she is most comfortable--whether your pup has a bed from home you'd like to bring or if he/she prefers to be on my bed, anything is fine with me! Time I'll spend with your dog This definitely depends on the arrangements we decide on together. If it's just a daytime visit for a walk, probably an hour. I'm willing to stay longer if you'd like! Of course, overnights are a different story with much more bonding time. **Pricing Disclaimer as of 01/10/2013: I am listed as $30/dog/day! This includes 2 visits/day (20-30 minute walk, feeding, and attention of course!) If there is a request for a late night walk as well, I will charge $20 for the additional request and the rate will increase to $50/dog/day. Please keep in mind the time, transportation, and safety of your sitters and walkers! Thank you so much!** Time I'll spend with your dog I'm at work from 9am-4 or 5pm during the work week, so any time outside of those hours I'd be more than happy to hang out with your furry best friend! **Pricing Disclaimer as of 01/10/2013: I am listed as $30/dog/day!
