I love animals. I own a house in the North End and currently work part time at St. Luke's. I am within walking distance to Camel's Back and have no problem taking dogs out there for hikes. My house has it's own medium sized back yard that is fully fenced with shade available and, if a dog is potty trained, they are welcome to roam the upper level of my house. I understand an animal is family. I know how to treat them and respect them and do not believe in any sort of spanking/slapping. I use positive reinforcement only. My current dog is 6, and I've had her since she was 7 weeks old.
Please notice my animal limits. I cannot accept more than 1 dog at a time for boarding as my house will not accommodate them, and I'm not as comfortable with more. Thank you.
My work schedule has recently changed - please check my calendar to ensure I am available before sending a request.
I am currently fostering for the Humane Society and will periodically have kittens around. If your dog does not like cats, they have a room designated to them and I can keep them separated. Just please mention that in your message.
In the past I have done pet sitting for friends and often for my parents little dog and golden retriever. I haven't met a dog I don't like yet, and can't see that happening.
I also have taken care of newborn kittens, cats, under 6 week puppies. I know how to bottle feed and administer oral medications. I prefer not to give shots, but I am able.
