Hello!! We are two Naturopathic Doctors with an incredible love for both people and dogs! We are interested in safety, exercise, good meals and fun for both! We have a combined over 30-years experience with patients and often their furry pets too. We think that happy and healthy dogs help keep happy and healthy owners/"parents" (and visa-versa) and you can trust that we will care for your furry-baby as much as we care for our own. We have a large home from which we work out of and see patients either in person or on phone or Skype visits 6 days per week. We are attentive, loving and super-excited to help your fur-baby have a fun experience during their stay with us, and for you to have a worry-free time apart.
We have a large house with big, bright windows perfect for watching birds, squirrels and other people and dogs going for walks in our neighbourhood. Also great for naps in the sunshine which is what our own dog loves to do after a day of excitement. Our outdoor space is also large with a fenced-in pool and grassy area, as well as a large partially-fenced area perfect for running or training time. your dog will be with at least one of us during any outdoor activity - including potty/pee time as we want to keep him/her safe at all times (exactly what we do with our own dog), and your dog will be on a long-leash if we're playing in the partially-fenced yard to make sure there is no risk of running out of the area.
Play time, great walks and lots of cuddles is what your fur-baby can expect from a stay with us!
Note: as this is a health-centred location, we can only accept non-shedding and hypoallergenic dogs. We also only take small/medium, fully-potty-trained dogs without separation anxiety.
We book our own schedules so when we're caring for new dogs, we can schedule walks, cuddles and play-time between our patient time. We do love hiking and can take your fur-baby with us if you are interested in this outing for them (and weather is agreeable of course!).
Most of all, we are concerned with the health and safety of your dog - we hope to hear from you! Note: you can see that we are particularly aware of the traits, joys and challenges of miniature schnauzers as that is the breed of our own fur-baby. I (Dr. Menen, ND) even have a blog for this breed which you can see here: https://schnauzersavvy.wordpress.com/
