My name is Amy. I have worked as a paramedic for over 8 years and am currently returning to school for nursing. To supplement my income as a CPR instructor, I would love to have your furry family member in our home! We have a large 3 story log home walking distance to a private beach area on Lake Lanier. Our lot is a large acre and one half so, there is a lot of room to run and be safe. Our own dog Iya has an underground fence in case she wants to stay outside longer. We also are home to 5 cats. Our furry family members are our babies. We also have two 13 year old human children that are also animal lovers and want to share hugs and kisses with your family member! If your dog sleeps in a crate, in a bed, on a couch, or loves to swim, roll in the grass, chase squirrels, fetch balls in the lake, then this is the place for them! We pride ourselves on taking care of your family member. We do have 5 cats but, only one stays inside during the day. That's Socko, he's 19. Rivet is 11, TC is 8, Two is 3, and Thomas is the baby at 1. The only time they come in is at dark to get in bed. So, if your pooch is wary or chases cats, this might not be the vacation spot for them. I have personally been a profession pet sitter for 5+ years in my own home, and occasionally walk the dogs for friends out of town. If your pooch needs some extra training in basic manners or just a refresher on how to sit, stay, and lie down, we can help with that also! Our private lake access affords a special vacation for your pooch. We also provide bathing services in case you would like them back to squeeky clean before pick up!
