About Kimberly

12 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My home, located in Redwood Shores, is a doggie paradise! Filled with grassy walking trails, trails along the bay, and lots of new furry friends to meet. I am located in a very safe and incredibly low-traffic area (especially compared to the surrounding 20 miles) with a fantastic dog park just down the block. My apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom on the ground floor, with a small patio/backyard on the ground floor with a deck and grass area - it is all fully enclosed and about 5 ft tall. I installed the grass myself just for them :).
I have a 1 year old child, ahem dog, named Jessie, who is literally always the best part of my day. She is a maltese/yorkie mix who is incredibly friendly, generous, welcoming, and always happy. She adapts well to other dogs and does well with dogs of all ages and sizes. I got lucky! he loves having play time and has always made other dogs feel right at home, playing with dogs of all sizes!
I'm currently in law school and have a very flexible schedule. The majority of my day is spent at home, studying, and I occasionally have 1-3 hrs of class although most of my classes I have been able to watch recordings of at home). I take frequent breaks for puppy love - who wouldn't? Prior to law school, I worked for about 6 years in sales for technology companies in the area.
I've raised/owned dogs my entire life and view them as a member of my family. I was blessed to experience my last dog give birth to two litters of Maltese puppies, and although she was an excellent mama, I cared for the pups from birth until they found their forever homes. In this process, I have learned so many skills relevant to providing the best level of care for your pups - relating to first aid, emergency situations, and detection of problems before they arise.

I'm confident that your beloved pup(s) will love it here! My top priority is to treat my visiting pups as they're my own, and as such, they are officially part of our little family when they arrive :). I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon!

5 Reasons Parents & Pups Love Us!!:

(1) Updates/Photos/Videos
I always keep my clients totally up to date. You will get daily updates informing you of any activities we did, progress adjusting to a new home, interactions with jessie and us, and anything else cute or exciting. You will also get plenty of photos! You'd be shocked by the number of doggie pics on my phone.
And my favorite part - , you can keep them com if we must leave the pups at home with our Petcube campaWhenever we leave them unsupervised for a short period, as well as daily from 7pm-8pm, you'll have access to the cam and will 'll be able to talk to them and hear them bark back, play with them using a laser pointer, and more. This thingawesome - we hope you like it too and it makes your pups stay as easy as possible!

(2) Security is Top Priority
Even though we live in a very calm, low-traffic area, I have a multi-level security system to make sure all my pups are safe. I have sturdy, tall dog gates in my front entrance, allowing the pups to go out the front door but only a few feet, and dog gates indoors, including a few feet past the entrance to keep any pups inside. We will never take your pup off their leash unless we are at a fully enclosed dog park, we feed all pups separately, and more. Upon request, I'd be happy to share our Lé Paws Safety Plan, addressing all causes for concern when it comes to your pups.
(3) Free Overnight Bags!
All of my pups go home with an overnight bag, which also will include a customized goodie bag! They will get fun toys, samples of their favorite treats while on vacay, and maybe another surprise or two. Packing the goodie bags with your pup is half the fun - they

I have hired Kimberly to watch my dog Ellie 4 different times when I have been out of town and she has been wonderful. She treats Ellie like her own and Ellie adores her. It's nice to have someone trustworthy to take care of Ellie while I'm gone, and I know that she's in good hands with Kim. Kim also makes sure to follow all of my directions completely - whether it comes to feeding, bathing, walking, medication, or cleaning. Ellie usually has trouble when I'm gone and I'm truly surprised that we haven't had any issues while Kim has been taking care of her. Kim's dog, Jessie, probably contributes a lot to that as well. Jessie is such a sweet dog and she does a great job at getting Ellie to actually play with her. They are always excited to see each other. I can't recommend Kim enough, she is an asset to any family!

Always friendly and positive. My dog loves to stay with her!
Thanks Kim, Daisy was so happy to stay at your place!!
Kim is great for small dogs. Kim clearly loves dogs and they love her. Our dog is blind and Kim provided a safe and easy to navigate environment for her, and gave her lots of attention with constant petting and walks. Kim paid close attention to feeding and kept us well informed during the stay both with photos and updates on how our dog was doing.

Kim has my highest recommendation.
