I am currently working as a dog walker for a company and find myself wanting more pups around! I have previously been a dog trainer, specifically for service dogs. I do boarding as well with my current company and my 2 fur-kids love it! They get a new face to play with and don't have to always go to the dog park to see a new dog friend, (since it's Portland it can be a little muddy for dogs at a park!)
I dream of owning acres of property to start a business for the dogs to run free as they should, but for now, I have to start at square one! I currently live in a 2 bedroom town-house with my wife and our pups. We frequently take them on walks, as well as to Thousand Acres to run free. There are 3 parks within a 5 minute drive, 15 minute walk from where we live. I dogs love to play chase and wrestle and since we have a fair amount of space they just run like crazy throughout the house. They love playing fetch with other pups and then as well as turning it into a game of chase. We all love snuggle time with the dogs and always let them in bed with us. So if you have a lap dog, by all means, send em over!
Anything the pup can think of doing on vacation (other than ripping through the trash!) they can do, all the balls, toys, cuddle, and grain free healthy treats a pup could ask for! I'm pretty sure it's safe to say I am more a dog person than a human person, and they sure do love me too!!
**I will have interview questions to ensure that I cover all expectations of the vacate for you and the pup. I like to make sure that the pup is a great fit for the home and the other pups. For example, "Has your pup had an accident in the last 6 months?" or "Does your pup have any aggressions over kennel space and food?" I ask these sort of questions because I have had clients who say they have the perfect pooch on the planet, doesn't pee in the house, never gets food/toy/space aggressive and then I have to charge cleaning services for the accidents, "marking." As well as cancel the stay for aggressive behaviors. I rather the dog have the greatest experience ever rather than be full of stress and discomfort!**
