I grew up with a miniature dachshund (Pebbles), a cat (Midnight), and had multiple canaries (Bam Bam, Pete, Tony). I currently have a basenji/chihuahua mix (Charlie) and miniature poodle mix (Haley) at home in Michigan, and am missing them desperately. When I am home, I love taking them for walks around the neighborhood and over to play with my aunt's golden retriever.

I am a young professional working full-time, who has dogs at home in Michigan, but only a roommate's cat here in Charlotte (who I adore, but am really missing having dogs around!). I am a huge animal lover and am currently studying nonprofit management to go into animal rescue someday.
