About Kimberly

Hi my name is Kimberly and I am 20 years old. I love all animals of all sizes. I have a 10 year old lemon beagle named max, he is mixed with a boarder collie and blue heel. By lemon beagle I mean he was the only one of his litter with no black. I have had him since he was 6 weeks old so my family has been taking care of him for a while now. I have watched many other dogs and pets of friends at my home before and they always have a great time. I have some toys and you can always bring your own. I have lots of food to feed your dog unless it requires special food then of course you'll need to bring some. I will take your dog(s) for at least 2 walks a day maybe more and I would love to take them to the dog park that is very close to my house so they can have some exercise and socialize with other dogs. Any concerns you might have can be cleared up during a meet and greet as I am pretty laid back and can make accommodations for your pets needs.

Kim did an awesome job!!
Kimberly was great with our dogs and always responded promptly when we texted her to see how they were doing.
I left my 10 lb morkie Caesar with Kimberly for a weekend when I had a trip planned to Chicago. Before dropping Caesar off Kimberly assured me she would not be looking after any other dogs that weekend (other than her own). When I arrived at Kimberly's place, there was a very excitable husky who was all over Caesar (again, Caesar is only 10 lbs). Because of this I told Kimberly it was okay to separate Caesar and keep him in her room (I didn't want him to be running away from the husky for my whole trip). Kimberly and her mother both assured me everything would be fine as I was leaving, but the next day I received a message that Caesar had "instigated a fight" and had gotten bitten on the mouth by the husky. Apparently he was so scared he peed himself and wouldn't stop screaming for a few minutes afterwards. I know my dog, he doesn't instigate fights, he is used to going to the dog park and is good with other dogs as long as they respect his boundaries. I am sure that Kimberly and her mother allowed the husky to bother Caesar to the point where he became aggressive, resulting in a fight between the two dogs. Not only that, but when I asked for a picture of the bite they didn't tell me that he was also bleeding from his chin - I found this out later when I saw scabs in two places on his chin. Lastly, because of this encounter Caesar is now terrified of other dogs. He used to love meeting dogs on his walks but now he cries every time he sees one.
Kim was extremely knowledgeable, caring, and Riley felt right at home. Would absolutely book with her again.
Can't say enough about Kimberly. Our dog came home happy and tired. We could tell he was not only well cared for but loved while we were gone. Would have zero hesitations recommending her services. We will be using her again!
Kim and her family were a great host for our Alfie! He seemed like he had a lot of fun (passed out immediately in our car!) and didn't seem stressed when we picked him up. Would recommend Kim's daycare any time! :)
Kim and her family were extremely accommodating and she was great with Loki. Would definitely use again if we're ever in the area again!
I feel Kimberly did a great job of making Bailey comfortable and happy. I would be comfortable recommending Kimberly and Dogvaycay to my friends and will use the service again.
My puppies had a great time! They loved visiting the dog park with Kimberly and her crew.
Kimberly was great with our shih tzu! She knew what to expect as far as it being a new place for Ebby and her dog was gentle, not at all scary or intimidating for Ebby. Kimberly was very prompt to reply to measages, flexible, and very loving towards Ebby. We would definitley recommend her and contact her again!
My dogs were very well taken care of while staying with Kimberly! She was great to deal with and very understanding of my dogs' needs. I will definitely be sending my dogs to her again
My dog seemed very happy and unstressed when I picked him up. Kimberly did a great job at tending to my dogs needs.
Kimberly took care of our Lab Oreo over the thanksgiving weekend. Oreo was well taken care of Kimberly is great and very flexible with pick up and drop off. Kimberly always responded to messages quickly. We are very happy we have found her and would ask her to watch our fur baby again.
Host daughter and Mother are very nice. Their space is very small with no fenced in yard. With this in mind, I think it best suited for small to medium-small dogs. They have a host dog that is not to happy with guest dogs, however I was told it would keep to himself. I believe my large dog and small dog were safe. I cannot speak to the quality or length of their time outside however, they would have been taken out long enough to do their business. Their dog beds were filthy and smelly after returning home probably due to a confined space that is frequently accommodating an array of dogs.
I was very happy with our experience with Kimberly. I will definitely use her services again.
Cali obviously enjoyed her stay. She was well looked after and Kimberley is a very nice person.
Normally when we drop our dog, Sadie, off at a kennel, she comes home and is depressed, usually sick, and just not herself. I'm so happy that we found dogvacay! We will definitely be bringing her to Kimberly's again!!! Sadie came home happy and could tell that she had a great time while she was there. Kimberly was awesome!
Our puppy had great time while staying at Kim's place. She was responsive to my calls and she was very flexible with drop off/ pick up times which we really needed. I definitely recommend her if your puppy needs a place!
I was quite satisfied with my overnight stay with Kimberly.
I enjoy the company of other small dogs but I was overwhelmed by the presence of several larger dogs in the household. I was appreciative of the fact that I was invited to stay in Kimberly's home on such short notice and I enjoyed being with her and her family.I would not mind a return visit as long as there are a fewer number (none would be great!) of larger dogs that I would have to put up with.
We have two dogs, an 11 year old Shitzu and a 3 year old Golden Retreiver with disabilities. We were very concerned about just anyone taking the Golden, but Kimberly never had an issue and the dogs seemed to have had a blast. Thank you Kimberly.
