****PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING FOR MORE INFORMATION & TO ENSURE OUR HOME IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR PET**** Our home is extremely pet friendly, cozy, warm and inviting. I work from home so your pet will have access to me all day while he/she is here. I have sat many of my friends and families pets before and of course have had my own pups throughout my entire life, therefore, I have many years of experience with all different sizes/breeds of dog. While your pup is here, I will do as much as I can to make him/her feel at home. If you would like to bring your pups own toys, bed, blankies or whatever to make them comfortable, please feel free to do so. Also, don't forget to bring his own food. We have a plethora of treats here so you can leave those at home unless your pup is on a restrictive diet :) Our own pup, Winston, is sweet as a button but mostly likes to be left alone when it comes to other dogs. He is very low key and doesn't really play with other dogs. He has no problem with them as long as they are not rambunctious or aggresive towards him. He is a bit of a lazy pup and really enjoys his quiet time as lounging around is his favorite thing to do. Also, Winston does not stay in a crate anymore, however, we do prefer that while your dog stays here, he/she is in a crate so that the two dogs can have their own individual spaces where they can feel secure and safe while we are not at home. We no longer own a crate, so if you could please bring your own, that would be great. I also do require that your pup is up to date on his/her vaccinations and is also actively taking heart worm/flea/tick preventative. Please ensure you are able to provide this information before or at time of drop off. We also have a large back yard available for play time, lots of toys & also a dog park right across the street that I frequent every day with my own pup. There are two separate parks there- one for small dogs and one for large dogs. I can always take your pup there for play time only if you feel comfortable and I have your permission, otherwise, there are also many walking paths around here, too. We are HUGE dog lovers and are so excited for our dog to be introduced to yours and have a new buddy for a few days :)
