*AT THIS TIME I REQUIRE A MEET N GREET FOR ALL NEW GUESTS. THANK YOU.
I work from home as a Children's Author, and am a Dog Mom of my 3 babies, so I make my own hours. Your pup will have 24 hour supervision. My schedule allows me to easily take my boys and little girl for walks, to the local parks, and to their Vet appointments. My husband, Dan, is home 3 days a week so he's able to spend lots of fun time with us, too. We live in a safe, secure Townhouse complex and there is lots of open, grassy space for your dog to enjoy fun, on-leash walks and/or play (fetch, frisbee and the like). There are also lots of paved paths should your pup prefer a more structured walk. There are other dogs and plenty of kids in our neighborhood so if your guy or gal likes to be social, I know the areas to go. Should he/she prefer a quieter time, I know those areas as well. No worries.
My oldest, Tenny, though a Senior, has his puppy moments; he loves to play ropy, and go for walks - when he's not napping. Geddy is more of a mellow, cuddly, quiet guy. But don't let that fool you; he'll join Tenny in chasing toys - if I take out the right ones. We just adopted our little girl, Breezy (in the Spring), and she's a sweetheart - a perfect addition to our family.
We are very affectionate and express our love towards our pups and Guests, through verbal praise, hugs, petting, kisses and healthy treats. We choose to take only up to 2 dogs (from the same family) in our home at a time to assure that they will receive the most personal care and attention possible. I have Certifications in Dog Behavior/Training, Dog Psychology, and Pet First Aid/CPR. I have lots of experience in dealing with separation anxiety with positive results. I also provide Doggy Day Care if you'd like your boy or girl to spend an afternoon, do a practice run before YOUR vacay, or just hang out for a few hours with us having all kinds of fun!
I would preferably board and provide daycare to the smaller and medium size dogs up to 30 pounds. Your dog can expect to enjoy as many short walks a day as he/she so desires. In addition to affection and healthy snacks, playtime is huge in this house (ropy and fetch, just to name Tenny's favorites). Should your little guy/girl be more on the mellow, quiet, or shy side, rest assured that he/she will be treated with extra extra special attention; and there is ample room for him/her to have private time with me.
