About: From age 8-14, I volunteered at the local animal shelter after school and on weekends, bathing, feeding, walking and playing with all kinds of dogs and cats. I grew up with cats as my family has had 3 throughout my lifetime. At age 19, I effectively trained my family's new Great Pyrenees puppy, Lilah. Now, I long-term dogsit for my friends pets when needed, including Laz - who is arguably the best Border Collie in the world. Living in Canmore, I'm naturally super active and love to get outside hiking, cross-country skiing, walking, and being outside year-round. Dogs are always welcome on my adventures. I work an office job Monday to Thursday 9-5 but there’s flexibility. We can go for walks on my lunch breaks and snuggle when I’m able to work from home. I have a fenced yard and a large two story home so there's lots of room for pups to run about. There are no other dogs in my home.
2. Kristina & Daniel N.
“Kristina is a wonderful caregiver for animals of all kinds. She has exception experience with reactive dogs, elderly dogs and truly cares for animals like they are her own. She has watched my dog on many occasions and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for an active caregiver to watch your pooch!”
3. Kaitlyn N.
“Animals head straight for Kaitlyn❤️❤️ and Kaitlyn has always headed straight for them!! I can remember seeing her on the floor in the barn building a cat house to keep her kitty cats warm and snuggly. She also insured that her kitty house had areas for the cats to play and perch. Kaitlyn has had horses, cats, dogs, and chickens! Kaitlyn has ensured she was educated about animals so that she could care for them in the best way possible. She genuinely wants animals to experience health and well-being by feeding nutrition and feeling loved all the time. Kaitlyn has boundaries and is assertive with pets so that they don’t run the show. Kaitlyn is energetic and social and she loves spending time outdoors with animals. She truly has a big heart for animals❤️ Kaitlyn is the best with animals. You won’t regret, picking her to watch your pet❤️❤️❤️”
4. Autumn H.
“We used autumn for three nights to take care of our 6 year old golden doodle. She was very friendly, sent pictures, brought the dogs to the dog park and accommodated every request I had. She responded quickly making us feel comfortable that our girl was in good hands. We would definitely contact her again if we were ever in the area. Thank you autumn”

About: I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I love to spend time with awesome dogs by taking them for walks and hikes! All doggy day care includes at least one 5-10km hike/walk or a combination of two 3-5km walks. I have experience with all breeds, particularly working dogs - cattle dogs, Aussie shepherds, border collies. My own dog, and best friend Metsä is an 11 year old blue heeler and I understand the level of activity and mental stimulation working dogs need. Metsä receives a minimum of 2 hours of exercise per day. I am keen to meet new people who have dogs of all breeds who could be new friends for Metsä and me! If you are interested in dog walking and would like to set up a meet and greet ahead of time, this may be possible. When I am not travelling for my job, I work from home full. Metsä and I love having another four legged friend at home to go for a nice hike with. I work from a home office and always have your dog in the room with me during the daytime hours. When we go on a walk and out for bathroom breaks your dog will remain on leash at all times.

About: Please see some of my reviews in my photos. I’ve been an avid animal lover my entire life. I was born on a ranch and my first babysitter was my loyal Appaloosa “Appy”. My sidekick was my blue heeler “Bear” I love providing one on one attention to dogs I spend time with. I’ve become the favourite doggo aunty to all of the dogs I have sat for and I’ve been asked back over and over again. I have a very flexible work from home schedule so I can be available for your doggo days, eves and on weekends for walks and sits. I am happy to schedule a meet up to learn safety measures, feeding schedules and walking schedules in your home for your dog (s). I believe dog’s are most comfortable in their own surroundings when they have new faces caring for them.
10. Emma & Remi G.
“We had a great experience leaving our dog with Emma and Remi for a couple days. They were super responsive, sent lots of pictures, and Jasper clearly had a great time with them! We definitely would love to have Emma and Remi sit Jasper again.”

About: Animal connection and companionship is unlike any other. I could only wish to have more pets in my life but due to my new city life restrictions there are no longer any supporting pet roles in my life. My longest care of six years is to my cat Luna who currently lives with my parents and little sister. Previous to Luna I cared for and rode Horses on a small horseback farm for two summers and previous to that I had my small budgie and hamster friends. Throughout my own personal pet care I have also dog sat on a couple occasions. Growing up I felt like I have had a certain affinity to animals and cannot imagine living without some connection to them, this is a way for me to provide my care and fufill your pet's needs as much as they would fufill mine. I have a flexible schedule as I am on an off season of work. I take this time to create self employed opportunities which means I have time and energy to give to our fellow animal companions! I have a pet friendly unit that allows one pet at a time. I prefer to care for a pet for at least two weeks if they are to stay at my home as I find that is the best for the pet and myself. If it is in your home I take care as per the requirements of the owner. I always respect your home and leave spaces cleaner than they are left if I am to use any of the facilities during their time of care.
12. Jessica F.
“Jessica was super amazing with my dog and I am definitely going to use her services again when I am in Banff and require a safe place for my pup, thank you again Jessica!”
13. Alex S.
“Alex was amazing for our beagle and was super accommodating. We were considering on boarding our dog but no facility was 24 hour staffed... We don't like the prospect of leaving our girl in a kennel overnight, so we decided to go with Rover for the first time. We highly recommend Alex if you happen to be in the Banff area.”
