About Kayla

25 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello Pet Owners,
The BIGGEST worry most pet owners have before leaving town is "what am I going to do with FIDO?" I've experienced the same anxieties myself every time I go on vacation. Do I leave them with a friend, boarding facility, vet's office, my parents house? All these questions run through your head!
Now here's the answer. Leave your beloved pets with ME!
I'm a licensed Veterinary Technologist (4 year degree in Veterinary Medicine)
I have no problem with puppies, adult or senior dogs
I can administer oral, topical or injectable medications
I can provide training services.
There is someone at my house 24/7
3 separate indoor spaces for animals to roam and play (just incase they don't play well with others)
There is a place for all breeds here!
Preferred drop off on week days before 7am or after 6pm. Special arrangements can be made with advanced notice.

Bucky came home happy and healthy after a week with Kayla. She did a great job with him and I would recommend her!
We like knowing our Ellie is in good hands with Kayla. Kayla is very dependable and easy going. Kayla knows about dogs and how to take care of them with her previous experience. You won't regret having Kayla watch your dogs.
Kayla is awesome! She's very prompt and professional and I felt at ease with her taking care of our dog.
Thank you, Kayla, for taking care of Lexie and for sending me pictures and video of how she was doing.
It was so relaxing to be able to leave town without a worry, thank you Kayla for that! Your caring attitude and experience shows through in how you care for your boarders and also your adorable three furry family members. I'm confident in your ability to handle anything that may come your way. My dog had a wonderful stay and I appreciate that. We will definitely use your services again! Thank you!
There aren't words to describe my relief when Kayla took this booking. She is compassionate and caring and willing to accomodate our strange schedule with our elder dog. Her kindness and competence kept him well and happy and we are forever grateful. From extra attention, meds and special foods she did it all. Both pups were healthy and happy when we returned. It doesn't get better than that! Thank you Kayla!
I had a great vacation at Christmas because I didn't have to worry about my pups being alone in a kennel. Kayla was awesome with my babies and sent daily pictures and updates to let us know how they were doing. It was a "Pawsome" experience for everybody, and we will definitely be seeing Kayla again.
Kayla took such good care of our puppy during our extended vacation. She also worked on basic clicker training with her (so amazing the progress she made in such a short time). We never worried about Maggie being in good hands.
Kayla did very well with our Labrador Lola! Lola is quite a challenge and lots of work. Full of energy and very much a puppy. Kayla was patient and kind and worked well with her. Lola seemed happy when we picked her up and not stressed! We ended up getting home pretty late and exhausted the day we were supposed to pick up and Kayla was very flexible allowing us to add an extra day to the stay! If she will have us, she will be our go to for future stays!! Thanks Kayla!
WOW! Just wow! From our Meet and Greet through our 2 pups' drop off, stay and.pick up, we couldn't be happier with our experience with Kayla! This was our first experience with Dogvacay and Kayla made it the absolute best experience we've had when we've needed to leave our fur babies behind. Our pups happily joined in her household, after having met her and her own friendly, hilarious little brood, and came home happy, frisky and full of their own unique brand of funny, intact. Kayla was kind enough to send along a pic of them in full relaxation mode. It put our minds and hearts at ease . We won't hesitate to use Kayla again and again!
Kayla did a great job with Rey! Photo updates every day and she came home tired, which is always great.
Jojo had a great time! I will book again the next time I go out of town.
Ellie was very excited to go see Kayla and very happy when she was picked up.
Kayla is well prepared to keep your prince or princess. You will have no worries to leave your babies with Kayla. Her background is animals, and she cares and loves them.

We were very happy because our Ellie was happy going and leaving.

Thank you Kayla, we appreciate you!

Kayla was great with our dogs! She's is obviously a pet lover and seemed to be prepared for anything. Very comforting knowing she is a vet tech and would be able to handle any problems that might arise with our elderly girls. But everything went great and I highly recommend!
Kayla was a good choice for my pet. Will use her again.
Kayla was very friendly and it's obvious that she knows what she's doing. Her house is clean, spacious, and super dog-friendly!
Our dog had a great time with Kayla. She sent us pictures and a video so we could see how she was doing, which helped since it was the first time we had left her with someone we weren't familiar with. Highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!
I was very hesitant about using a stranger to watch our dog Rusty. But there was no way we were sending him to a kennel (he's a rescue). He's a nervous dog, and can have some behavioral "accidents" when he gets scared. But Kayla was great, and I can tell Rusty loved it there and loved his new friends! She sent daily updates and photos (sometimes 2!) which helped us relax knowing he was having a good time and was being well taken care of. If we ever need a sitter again (which we will), we won't hesitate to use Kayla again. Thanks for loving our dog while we were away!
