Are you traveling this summer? Does your 4-legged friend prefer playing with one dog at a time rather than getting lost in a crowded pack? Well, that's exactly what Kay9 offers! Your dog would only share me with my 13-year-old Keeshond mix. She's a very go-with-the-flow kind of dog.
We start the day with a long walk or hike (length adjusted to dog's energy level and age). I'm self-employed, so the dogs are with me 24/7. . . except when I go out to eat or to a show. They wouldn't be left alone for more than a couple of hours. Plenty of mid-day potty breaks and sometimes a mid-day walk when my work schedule permits. We end the day with another long walk before settling in for the evening.
If your dog requires meds, including injectables, I'm comfortable administering those. I also have a regular client with a blind dog. I'm trained in canine massage and the dogs I care for enjoy an evening massage at the end of the day. . . if they're receptive to that.
If you think we'd be a good fit for your situation, I'd love to hear from you. DogVacay doesn't have a place for recommendations, so you can see mine here: https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/house-and-pet-sitters/united-states/california/sausalito/l/142945/
NOTE: All dogs I care for MUST be on monthly flea control. My dog is extremely allergic, so your honesty in this manner is greatly appreciated. Thank you for understanding. Also, if you are boarding your dog with me I strongly recommend tick control. I live on Mount Tam where ticks are prevalent.
