Hi I'm Kate! I am a current "senior" at Southern Connecticut State University, majoring in biology. I really found a passion for animals when I was highschool. I have interned at the Beardsley zoo for about a year a and gained a lot of exotic animal knowledge. Not only was my at the zoo extremely fun, but it was also a great learning opportunity. After working there I really had a passion for animals, so I found a position at a local animal hospital in Milford, and have worked there for a few months. At the hospital, I do daily feeding/walkings/ cleaning / play time. I can have anywhere from 1-25 dogs at a time, so I feel very comfortable handling more than one dog if need be. At the hospital I'm also required to give medications that are needed, so I am very comfortable with that as well! I currently have a five month old Australian Shepard named Macie, she is a total sweetheart and loves everyone she meets. I understand the time and care that needs to go into taking care of someone's best friend and I would love to help take care of yours!
