I had a Golden Retriever for 13 years and have dog sat for multiple neighbors over the years. My home is spacious and dogs are allowed to roam and sleep wherever they'd like. There is a doggie door that leads outside to the fenced yard and a balcony the dog would have access to. A typical day would involve 1-2 walks around the neighborhood or to surrounding parks so the dog could be active and have plenty of time for potty breaks.
