About Kathryn

3 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi, my name is Kat. I live in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Jax, FL. I live with my fiancé, Josh and we are just your average couple that has more affection for pets than kids (as of now). We would love to watch your pup (cat, iguana, whatever you've got) to make your life a little more convenient while you are away or taking a break from life. I have watched over diabetic cats, seizure-prone dogs, and even a couple rabbits previously so there is not much that scares me.
In our home, we have a 3 year-old pit-lab mix named Rudy and an adopted street cat, Seamus. Both stay inside at all times (unless we are out in the yard, walking etc.) There is clearly no discrimination here with bully breeds, or other stereotypically frowned-upon breeds. Rudy is a VERY gentle (read = neutered extremely early) dog, and used to live in the same house with another male pit for his first years of life. *It is worth noting that if your pup generally does not get along with other male dogs, you need to let me know before hand so that we can have a clear, separated area for the two of them.*
My fiancé and I have near opposite schedules and I am fortunately able to come home throughout the day with my nearby job, so there would be only a few hours (3 MAX) at a time that the pets would be left alone.
We provide plenty of potty breaks and walks. We usually walk Rudy with a harness and like to bring water for him on especially hot days. We generally walk around our neighborhood and nearby parks (leash on). I ask that you please supply your own food, and be sure to let me know if they have any special needs, allergies, etc. We've got plenty of lounging space in our bungalow, & toys and treats for everyone. Let me know if you have any questions at all!

Kathryn was a lifesaver. We boarded our 1-year old pup with her over Thanksgiving weekend, when all the kennels were full. We met ahead of time for a meet-and-greet with her dog Rudy, which went well. She provided daily updates on how things were going. And she was very flexible when we were late picking up due to a bad traffic tie-up. Overall, excellent experience, would totally do it again.

My pup loves it there! They take great care of her and their dog is sweet and loves to play which is a nice bonus. Kathryn sends me updates each day so I know things are going well and it very easy to set up pick up/drop offs. I wouldn't have my dog stay anywhere else

Kathryn was amazing and Luca can't wait to visit again! Rudy was amazingly kind and a great new playmate! Took all the worry out of traveling for work and not having my angel with me!
Kathryn did such an amazing job watching our dog while we went overseas. I loved the picture updates and messages. My dog loved it there and was treated like family. I would definitely choose her over any dog kennel oder dog "hotel".
I have NOTHING but great things to say about Kat!!!!! She took in BOTH of our 50+ pound furbabies for an entire week & showered them with love & attention! She sent pictures and even videos at least once every day, and that helped us so much! Our dogs LOVED her & were immediately comfortable with her! We won't be using anyone else from now on :)

Kat did everything to make my GiGi feel comfortable and sent me pictures almost every day. She even let me pick up and drop off at weird times due to my flight times.
Our dogs are like family so it was a little bit unnerving to let them be cared for by a stranger. We had boarded at vets, and pet resorts in the past, but I'd hope for a more personal experience for them. We requested a meet and greet and I couldn't have been put more at ease. Kat was clearly a pet lover and her dog and ours seemed to hit it off on a short walk. With that experience under our belts, we booked for a weekend. We recieved the approriate amount of communication during the stay, and knew when we picked up our guys that they would be fine. I'd reccommend this sitter for anyone who needs temporary care for their dog.
