My name is Katarina, Kat for short, and I have been around dogs since I was born. My family loved Rottweilers growing up and multiple family members were very involved in breeding and showing for a couple years. My cousin has been a vet tech for over 15 years now and definitely had some influence in our family switching to rescuing animals. I knew I wasn't cut out for the medical side of animal care, but have always had a toe dipped in the animal care business with dog walking and sitting from a young age. I got into the dog industry full time in 2019 and have recently gone out on my own after gaining valuable experience and mentorship from a behavioral trainer out in Santa Clarita. I strive to give dogs their most fulfilling life whether that’s through a short walk, a big social hike, overnight sitting, sleepovers with my pack and more. My main goal is to keep them happy and healthy while I care for them. I believe in working with the dog you have in front of you. Dog training and care is not one size fits all. I always take time to understand who your dog is so I can give them the care best suited to their needs and wants. I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications. I do some injectable medications as well, but this would need to be discussed before hand.
