About Kendra

30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Lover of all creatures!

I am a responsible, mature adult that works from home. Pet sitting is my primary employment. I have had a great deal of experience with dogs of all ages and breeds working as a veterinary technician for the last 25 years. Through my work I have become an expert caregiver. I can give medications, provide physical therapy and even take your dog to the vet. it is my pleasure to share my home and space with any animal and I will care for your dog as if he/she is my own. My favorite moments are spent with healthy happy dogs, playing, walking, even watching tv and just letting them do "dog stuff".

This was our first DogVacay visit and we were so pleased. Kendra spent a lot of time with us during our Meet & Greet and clearly demonstrated her love for and knowledge of dogs. The dogs had a wonderful stay with her and seemed to get along easily with the whole pack. Kendra's home is very very dog friendly and clearly dogs are the priority. We'd be happy to use Kendra again.

Kendra did an excellent job with Shannon. Shannon has very bad separation anxiety.
We had a meet and greet so Shannon would get to know Kendra and her husband and family of animals.
Shannon seemed to start getting comfortable. We agreed to bring her the next day.
Day 1: Shannon has an issue when I leave. It took her about 2 hours to settle down. Once she did calm down she found doggie friend to play with. Kendra has a big fenced in yard and the dogs ran around so much, that once we got home Shannon was so tired she did eat supper.
Day 2: Dropped her off. Shannon was not as anxious. I could see she still want to leave with me but she also wanted to be with her new friends. The dogs rested still tired from the exercise they got the day before.
Day 3: When I dropped her off she still kinda wanted to come with me but she was happy to be there knowing her friends were there.
I will be bringing Shannon a few times a week because she has company that like to play and keeps her happy. Kendra lets the dogs do doggie thing and you can see they are very happy to be there. Kendra also send pictures of Shannon, we love the pictures.

Kendra is fantastic!
My small, high energy dogs were very glad to be in a place with a large, safe yard and other dogs to play with. Kendra and her husband took great care to introduce the dogs to each other carefully and encouraged me to be there while they did so. They both have calm demeanors and were very sweet to my dogs.

Kendra really went above and beyond the call of duty AFTER our visit though- I forgot to bring home my dogs' little jackets and after we left Kendra texted asking for an address to send them after us. She noticed before I did! Not only did she follow through, she even washed them before sending! This was a simple act of human kindness that in no way was expected or demanded but is very much appreciated.

Thank you Kendra!!
