Hello! I hope this message finds you well! I currently have a senior dog that I've had for nearly 14 years. Beyond caring for her, I've dog sat for many families over the years, both at their houses and at mine. However, now that my dog is as old as she is, she's a bit territorial and I prefer to come to you.
I moved here from Asheville and occasionally have people I used to pet sit for check in to see if I'm going to be home for a weekend they need care because I'm still their first choice. :) I think that's because when I dog sit, I treat your pets like I'd want someone to care for mine. I don't just pop in to feed, water, let them out, and leave again. I'll stay and spend time playing with them/walking them and then often stay beyond that and bring something to do so your pet has plenty of company while you're away.
I like to provide the care and routine your pet is used to per food, walks, and playtime. And I'm happy to do overnights whether you prefer that I stay over or just check in late night/early morning so long as it's close to home.
