I am a substitute teacher, which means some days I will be home during the day and others not. My husband and I had our own dogs for 5 years, but circumstances caused us to have to give them up. We still love dogs, as does our 2-year-old daughter. She loves to play and snuggle with pups, so your dog must be tolerant of children. We also have an adult cat. He lived with a dog at his previous residence, but would generally like to be left alone, so a cat-crazed dog will not do.
We live in a single-family home with a large laundry room where we are able to keep pet food, a crate, or other belongings. We have a large grass yard that is mostly fenced. We are willing and able to walk dogs in the evening after work, and also on weekends. And if your pup likes to play (especially chase flashlights around), our little girl will gladly oblige.
Your dog will be comfortable and well-cared for here. However, we prefer not to care for any dogs with a history of destroying property by chewing, clawing or peeing on things, so please be honest about your dog's behavior!
