It is my personal mission to provide flexible, affordable, and quality pet care to you and your family whether you are leaving for work, vacation, or deployment!
We live on Ft. Carson. We have a fenced in backyard and access to beautiful walking trails and a dog park. I work conveniently from home and will not have to leave your pet unattended for more than 2 hours at a time. We have a 13-year-old Australian Shepherd who keeps to herself and three cats. Boarding overnight will be considered on a case by case basis.
I grew up with a large menagerie of animals (dogs, cats, farm animals, small mammals, birds, and fish). I have a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology. From 2008-2012 I worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center caring for and handling/releasing various species of mammals (deer, raccoon, coyote, fox, bobcat, etc.).
From 2012-2014 I was the curator of the education animals at the Rock Eagle 4-H center (reptiles, amphibians, insects, arachnids, birds of prey). I am proficient in animal husbandry and operant conditioning training. I am happy to assist you, your family, and your pet with basic obedience training. I have also been horseback riding since I was a small child and can assist with horse care, exercise, or training.
Looking forward to meeting you!
