As a lifelong lover of dogs, I spend many hours as a volunteer at the SPCA. On Saturday mornings, you will find me at the farmer's market giving dog baths to raise money for the shelter. I also volunteer at other fund raisers and events to promote adoptions and foster programs. Besides walking the dogs, I work with the timid ones to help socialize them so their chances of getting adopted are better. I have learned many techniques in handling, caring for and entertaining dogs while supervising at a canine day care socializing up to twelve dogs at a time. My wife and I have two shelter dogs at home. Between the two of us, we make sure the dogs are not left unattended for long periods. Our home is on the Outer Banks on a half acre lot in a quiet neighborhood perfect for dog walks. We have a large shaded fenced-in back yard for playtime and supervised exercise. All safety measures are taken to ensure that your dog is safe. Dogs are only fed food and snacks that owner provides. They are isolated during feeding times. We tag them as soon as they arrive with our contact information. We strive to make your dog's stay with us as stress free and fun as possible. We are passionate about dogs and will treat your dog with ultimate care and compassion.
We cannot accept dogs that are not housebroken,as well as excessive barkers.( we have to consider our neighbors).
Thanks for your consideration,Dennis & Connie
