Hello everyone, welcome to my profile! I'm glad you've made it here. I've always been an animal lover of all kinds - I received by degree in biological sciences, but have been working in the tech industry for a few years now. I just recently moved back to Florida from a few years in England and am taking some time to focus on family and things that bring me joy, like animals! But of course, let's get to my credentials! I will treat your pet like one of my own. I have been a veterinary technician and have a lot of medical experience, so your pup/kitty will be safe with me! I'm comfortable administering medication, whether it be oral or subQ, working with special diets, and any specific medical needs your furry friend may need. I worked at a pet shop throughout college so am also very knowledgeable with exotics as well and have owned some of my own. I was also a volunteer at my college town's local animal shelter and have a lot of experience socializing/training dogs of all backgrounds. I've also been an educator at the Napes Zoo, and continued to volunteer at an animal shelter while in Europe. As I am taking my mini break from the corporate, I have great availability. I understand how scary it can be to trust someone with your furry pup, but I can ensure you I treat them as if they are my own and do this simply for passion. I almost always had an animal staying with me! I've handled animals ranging from three week old ball pythons to feisty 100 lb dogs to lions from some conservation work I did in Africa. I have a strong passion for animals and always have.
