About Amber Reine

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
About this sitter:
My name is Amber Reine. I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs. I have owned and fostered a wide variety of breeds. From Yorkies, Corgis and Doxies, to Labs, Border Collies, German Shepherds, tiny little lab pups to 125 Mastiffs. My family and I have been involved in animal rescue, with brachialsaphalic breeds for more than 10 of those years. Pugs, Boxers, Boston terriers, French Bulldogs, and English Bulldogs are my specialties. I have taken care of and fostered, puppies, dogs with behavior issues, medical needs, allergies, and basic training needs. I specialize in socialization or shy and timid dogs; as well as, potty/crate training puppies.

There is something to be said about dealing with literally, hundreds of dogs over a 15 year period. You learn so much about homeopathic care, medical intervention, temperament testing, and leadership. I have assisted in home checks, foster care, adoptions and training for families all over Orange County and beyond. I know what it takes to integrate dogs into a new environment and help them acclimate and feel safe.
It has been my desire to give back to animals in need. Animals have given me so much joy over my lifetime, I would like to give a fraction of that in return. I have recently decided to take all of my knowledge for caring for foster and rescue dogs, and apply it to family pets.
I know that when I am away, I want to leave my fur babies in the care of someone competent and loving. If my pets are not able to be with me, I want them to stay with someone who feels like family.
I provide in home care, boarding, socialization, playtime and training, as well as day care- both full and half day. I would love to care for your puppies like I do my own family pets. I have a Boxer puppy and a Pug! I know how special family pets are and how much joy they bring. I would want a person who knew and loved my dogs, to care for and appreciate the unique needs of my dog's breed.
If your puppies can't be at home with you, please, allow me to create a space that is their home, away from home. I live in the beautiful and dog friendly neighborhood of Park Santiago, Santa Ana. I have a large, fenced and secure yard for supervised play and making friends.
I have cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. I am confident that in our home care environment your family pet will thrive. Trust me to create a "just like home," experience for you and your beloved family member.
Thank you for your time,
Amber Reine

Amber was amazing!! From the meet and greet to the slumber party.. I knew that my baby was safe and in great hands! I fully trust Amber to watch Trinity any time I can't take her.
Amber was very communicative and thorough. Her care for dogs is very evident. She has a program and a system.
Amber was a great host to our three little nuggets this weekend! She was patient with our anxious ones and kept us updated at least once a day with pictures, videos, and notes. We knew our dogs were in good hands and would definitely come back in the future.
I was left with no doggie care 5 days before a 3 week international trip and Amber came to my rescue. I was so nervous to leave Fozzy for such a long period of time but my neves were calmed knowing it was in a place like this one. Amber's family is so kind and all understand how to care for dogs. Fozzy also switched to a raw diet while he was there, although it's something I'm getting used to he is loving it and it's great seeing him so excited about his food!
Amber was great to fit us in for a last minute reservation. We had a communication issue when it came to pick up, but in the end it was all good. Our pup had a great day and most importantly he was safe.
Amber was great with Dustin, Sienna and Nala. I really appreciate the good care she gave them and the picture she sent me.
Amber and her family were so welcoming. We had to find boarding on short notice from out of town. We did not have the benefit of a meet and greet but she is very familiar with the breed profile of my dog. He came home clean, brushed and exhausted! I would use her again
Incredible. Not only did Amber watch our troubled pit, she made his life better by training him while watching him. Just an incredible experience!
Amber is the best. She handled everything so professionally and yet warm. She made me feel like she wanted to watch my 6 month old Springer Spaniel.

She sent videos daily to let me see hw he was doing with the other dogs and that meant the world to us.

If she has the space available use her services. I will.

The reason I choose Amber is because of her years of experience with rescue dogs. My pup was a special needs case when I 1st started taking her with amber. She was timid of people, scared in new situations.. but amber was amazing and I wouldn't have trusted anyone else based on our initial meet and greet where it was evident that she was EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Even her kids impressed me about how dog savvy they were. Upon Joules' stay I received updates, photos, videos that really made me feel like i was there myself. Joules, my border collie with mounds of energy, enjoyed running around and exhausting her energy in her large yard, and with her new bff, Rafferty, one of Ambers dog. I know she doesn't get overly exhausted because Amber gives her a down time with a treat, and even then Joules comes home ready for at least a LONG nap. Her dogs are very well behaved and she really establishes herself as the pack leader. I can't say how grateful I am to have found Amber's services (daycare & training), she was truly a godsend to me. With some socialization training Amber provided, my once extremely timid/scared pup is is now going up to people people for affection, and is becoming the happy puppy that I knew she could be.
Amber is amazing. She is knowledgable, kind and confident. My pup is can be nervous in different enviornemts and on our meet and greet, it couldn't have been any better on her end. She walked my boy Willis and her extra adorable pug together (after she gave them a moment to get introduced), and had Willis meet her children one by one, we then went to her back year so Willis could meet her 8 month old boxer off leash and she managed their energy extremely well.

I was so happy to have found Amber! Willis stayed with her and her family from a Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. She sent me photos and videos from Willis's visit, kept me updated each day and afterwards she discussed a couple of areas that I need to focus on more with Willis.

I could not have asked for a better place to leave my boy. Amber understands him and knows how to work his personality. In addition, she has the knowledge to further help me in getting Willis better socialized. Refer to her profile for full details on her areas of expertise.

This was such a wonderful and encouraging experience and I look forward to working with Amber, not just in pet sitting but also in training with Willis!
