For about 5 years I have watched my family and friends’ pets while they were away on vacation or work. I have walked their dogs, fed them, given them water, played and loved the dogs. I have taken care of them while visiting them at their home, both dogs, cats, and other kinds of pets. I have loved and bonded with animals from an early age. At 5 years old my parents got me a blond haired Cocker Spaniel puppy who I named Buttons. I thought that his nose looked like a Button. This began my first unconditional experience of the love of a dog. He lived with us till I was 18 years old. At college I was adopted (that's right) by a mix breed Sheppard and Terrier. She reminded me of "Tramp" in the Disney film "Lady and the Tramp". I was convinced she was the reincarnation of a person as she was extremely unusual, smart, loving, and independent. I also rescued two mixed breed puppies a cocker spaniel/terrier and Labrador so have experience raising puppies. Later in life I rescued a yellow napped green Amazon parrot and he was with me for 7 years. A few years later I rescued again parrot a Hispanola green parrot and he lived with me for ten years. I learned a great deal about parrots primarily that their pea-sized brains are no indication of their intelligence as both birds were incredibly smart, loving. and miraculous. I want nothing more than to care for your dog/pets in the best way possible. I will take your dog for walks anytime they are needed. I will make sure your dog or pet has the food and water that it needs. I will definitely make sure your pet has the love it needs by giving it lots of attention and being kind to it and making sure it has fun. If pet sitting at your home is wanted I will make sure your house is maintained as well and make you feel you can trust me with your home and your pet while you are away. I have experience pet sitting in peoples' homes and families have been pleased with the results. I will provide excellent service and great care of clients' dogs. I know what questions to ask to make sure I understand their specific needs. I am very dependable and will always show up on time. I am trustworthy with a clean background and reference from former clients. I think this is an exciting and very rewarding job and I hope to become a part of your agency soon.
