Hi! My name is Naomi.
My Husband and I have always loved animals and been around various dog breeds and other types of pets from early childhood.
After dog sitting for my parents a few times we decided to start up a 'Doggy daycare'.
I have been enlisted to take care of my brother and sister in laws three cats whilst they go to their cottage, I go to their home to feed them, check their water, clean their trays and play with them twice each day.
Although we have no dogs ourselves (we were waiting until we could own our home and since then have been researching the right breed/s for our family), we do have a cat, he's a big fluffy grey guy named Simba. We picked him up from a shelter 2 years ago. He never pays any attention to my parent's dog when she's here, he generally minds his own business and is happy napping hidden away somewhere.
We have four beautiful children.
My older three like to help feed the animals and come along for walks. They know and recognise different breeds and some of the typical breed traits.
They understand how to treat animals, to be gentle and kind and not to feed them certain foods that can be dangerous to their health.
It goes without saying that our children are extremely important to us. Even though we would not leave our children alone with a large dog that could possibly over power them, we would appreciate that you only bring your dog to our daycare if they are used to children and have not shown aggression to humans in the past.
We live in an end unit townhouse with a decent sized, fully fenced back yard for your dog to spend some time outside when we're not on walks. We will take a minimum of two walks each day, one will be in the morning and one in the evening aswell as any midday walks we may take as a family.
Thank you for considering us as your pet hosts!
