Hello! If you are looking for a loving home for your pets to vacation in while you are away, or if you are looking for someone trustworthy to check on them in your own home and walk them twice a day, you've found the right person! Your pets are free to come over to my house for the duration of your trip, or I can check on them at your house twice a day, if you'd like. The cost of checking on your dog twice daily while you are away includes two 15min walks. I am a runner and I love exploring, so I am happy to take your dog on runs if that is something he or she needs. I am available early mornings, midday and evenings. When your dog stays with me, he or she is treated as one of my own. This means, with your permission, I will take your dog to the dog park and on morning and nightly walks or runs with my own dogs. If your dog needs special accommodations in my home, such as being kenneled during the day or baby-gated into a smaller space, I can make that happen, otherwise he/she will have free run of the house along with my dogs and cats. One of my first jobs was manager of a pet boarding/daycare facility in Colorado and that is where I learned how much I love working with all types of animals. At this facility, we took care of cats, rabbits, hamsters/Guinea pigs and sugar gliders. We walked the dogs twice a day, fed them (including special diets and medications), played with them and we worked on agility and other training aspects such as nose work. *I ask that any dog that will be coming to my home is cat and other dog friendly, as we are a fur-filled home.
