I have always been a dog lover. As a child, I used to take in stray dogs during the summers I spent in Florida. I was responsible for the care of these dogs- a job I took extremely seriously. Now, as an adult dog lover, I enjoy caring for and being surrounded by dogs. Board your dog with me, and he will think he's on vacation. I live in Diamond Heights near the border of Noe Valley, which I a convinced is the best neighborhood in the city to be a dog.
I am very nurturing, patient, consistent, and hard-working. Just two blocks away from my home is one of the best dog parks in the city- Upper Douglass Dog Park. Within a five block radius are two other great dog parks. Dogs in my care typically get three walks a day, sometimes more. Two of these walks include trips to the dog park (if appropriate for the dog). In the home I provide daily brushing and lots of attention and affection. Unfortunately, I can only accept dogs that weigh 40 pounds or less. Your dog will be the recipient of hours of focused attention. He will enjoy relaxing walks through quiet Diamond Heights and is sure to love the strolling through the many parks and gardens within close proximity. In the late afternoons he will get a good romp at Douglas Dog Park as the greyhounds run laps and socialize. Since I will never have more than two dogs with me so I can keep your pooch close by and safe.
Living with me on the weekdays is my 4 year old son. He is very sweet and gentle and never ever taunts, teases, or acts inappropriately with dogs. My son is never left unsupervised. However, I am only able to board dogs that have never shown aggression towards children or other dogs, and who do not suffer from separation anxiety or destructive behavior.
Board your dog with me, and your dog will be happy, well-cared for, and given ample exercise and stimulation. I even leave Dog TV on for your pooch when he is home alone. Oh, and for an extra fee I am happy to add a daily jog to your dog's vacation.
