My wife often claims that I like dogs more than I like people.
I have been looking after and playing with dogs since I was old enough to know how to get their attention. I was brought up with pets in my home and have raised dogs from puppy to adult.
I worked at a kennel where I was lucky enough to take care of dogs all day. My work there included feeding, walking, washing, administering medication and most importantly playing with up to 10 dogs a day.
I have dealt with dogs with varying issues including fears/phobias, distrust of new people and allergies.
Your dog has free roam of my home and yard and can sleep in its own doggy corner of my living room or if it would rather I can move the dog bed into the bedroom so it can sleep with some company. Owners can also bring their own crates if they prefer.
I have no breed preferences but before I sit your dog I would like to know the following things so that I can give your dog the best experience as I can.
Does your dog have separation anxiety?
Is your dog OK with being around other dogs?
Do you allow him/her on the couch or bed? (I don't want to allow them if you forbid it while they are at home)
Does your dog have any special needs such as injuries, allergies or fears/phobias?
