About Joanne

50 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Tender Loving Care given 24/7...I specialize in elderly dogs that need extra attention.....I have worked with dogs professionally my entire life. I LOVE dogs, and spending time with them. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. Our time together would consist of indoor play time and outdoor playtime. Problem eaters are no trouble, also I am experienced with oral medicine and injections. Below are some of my accomplishments with dogs. While my professional experience is with dogs, I have had and cared for cats, birds, reptiles, horses, goats, cattle, rabbits, chickens, etc.

Juno (my dog) and I have fostered many dogs, and cats. Juno is a mentor dog, So we (Juno and I) do a lot of volunteer work with traumatized rescued dogs.
Juno traveled over 7,000 miles with me, staying in hotels, and walking aboard ships, even standing over Niagara falls on a bridge by my side.

March 1995 Obedience trained Murphy and donated to Florida Dog Guides for the deaf.

When I picked up Reba after her Vacation with Joanne and Juno I picked up a happy little dog. Knowing that she was being cared for by a true professional as well as a caring canine friend sure made my own vacation more stress free. I'll definitely be booking again!
Joanne is my Sophie's new 'home away from home mommy.' This was mine and Sophie's first time boarding away from home and it couldn't have gone better. Sophie is 12 years old and 90 percent blind and deaf. I wanted someone who is with her all the time because of her age and disabilities. Joanne even figured out why Sophie had been 'off' eating twice daily: something I'd been trying to figure out. Sophie ate twice daily and was smiling and happy when I picked her up. Sophie gives Joanne 4 paws rating ???? ( the highest rating) and I give her 5+ stars. ??????
From our meet n greet, I knew Joanne would be a perfect match for Millie. Millie can be shy, but she went right up to her and kissed her. Millie also liked her dog Juno. While I was away Millie experienced some urinary problems. Joanne contacted me right away and I told her what I do when this happens and she was more than willing to try it. Millie was better within the hour. Joanne really watches out for and cares for dogs like should would her own. I was very pleased! Millie is looking forward to returning soon.
Joanne was wonderful! I have 4 little doggies which usually makes people cringe, and think they'd better not take on that responsibility, but Joanne and Juno welcomed my crew with open arms! Her expertise and years of experience, as evident on her many credentials, made my doggies feel right "at home". Her home is very convenient and dog friendly with plenty of space for roaming around. I would highly recommend Joanne and Juno for boarding next time you need someone to take care of your pets. I will definitely be back!!!
Joanne was available despite the short (less than 24 hours) notice we gave her. "B" (short for Beatris), who was rescued from the side of the road after days of exposure, is timid and had never stayed with anyone but family and has never been boarded. I chose Joanne based on her credentials and experience with dogs and groups within the community. Given B's history, Joanne understood our concerns and, by evidence of the pictures she shared, made B feel right at home. It was a very stormy day when we returned so i knew B would be hiding somewhere under cover since she's extremely scared of storms. When Joanne opened the door, there stood B with Juno with the look of surprise (time to go home already?) and wagging her tail. That never happens. Since B's return home, she seems more confident thanks to her stay with Joanne and Juno. . We will definately be using Joanne and Juno for future stays. Thank you Joanne for treating our baby as you'r own.
