My husband and I have been a dog owner for most of our lives. We have owned Westies, German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Beagles and Poodles, just to mention a few. We now have 3 dogs, Zena and Erial are sisters, they are 8 and in good health. We rescued Sammie Jo last Christmas from a horrible place that mistreated her. She has physical scars on her that broke my heart. She now lives with her big "sisters", she gets to run around, play, get lots of love and attention.
Our day is a good routine for our girls. The girls get fed in the morning but have dry food and several water bowls available to them all day. Outdoors they all love to run around the back yards, chase leaves and each other. The girls are not outside for any specific amount of time, they let me know when they are ready to come back in the house. They do enjoy fetching sticks and balls. Treats are daily right before dinner for the humans. We all climb into bed at night to watch TV before they all go to bed. The "girls" have their own bedroom where they sleep at night, Sammie Jo is crated for her security and space of her own.
Our dogs are family to us, your dog/dogs will be family to us while you are not able to be with them. Your dog/dogs will get lots of love and attention. Your dog/dogs will have fun playing with Sammie Jo, who is the most friendly dog I have ever met unless your dog prefers one on one time. We can adapt to whatever is best for your dog/dogs.
