About Jessica

14 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Pleased to Entertain YOUR Pup!

They call me the Dog Whisperer! I have always had a passion for animals but more specifically dogs! I have been taking care of dogs since I was 5 when my family rescued a golden retriever named Lilah. She was terrified and reserved when we first got her because she was abused by the previous owner. My family helped bring her back to life and Lilah was a happy loving golden again. When I was 9, a neighbor let me watch their dog over the weekend and that's when I fell in love with taking care of other peoples dogs. Since then I have been watching neighbors, friends and strangers dogs of all colors, shapes, sizes and personalities. Recently I also gained professional experience by working in a dog hotel with the dogs in daycare and in the back. I also was a bather for the groomers. I worked there for almost a year almost all the while still dog sitting for friends. I would love helping you by taking care of your furry family member while your away!

A Typical Day: They will be greeted with lots of love!
We will go outside and play in the backyard with the other dogs. Those water lovers are welcome to go for a swim in the pool! More playtime in the house. (Lots of room to run around)
I know sometimes dogs want to play while others want to rest so there are plenty of gates to separate for playtime and naptime. We will Share tons of cuddle time with lots of loving belling rubs and ear scratching.
I'll make yummy treats made just for your pet. (unless requested not to do to diet or allergies.)
Dogs who are boarding for 6 days or longer will have a complimentary bath.
Whatever your dog needs to have fun I will do my very best to make sure your furbaby is happy!

Requirements:
Every dog Must have all normal boarding vaccinations. i.e. Bordetella, Rabies, DHHP
Must be spayed or neutered. (Exceptions can be made for puppies w/ permission)
Must be housebroken (Exceptions can be made for puppies w/ permission)
Must be crate trained. (Exceptions can be made with permission in certain cases) This allows me to separate the dogs for feeding or separate dogs that need some alone time unsupervised.

Reliability, Personalization, and Cleanliness & Organization are the most important qualities for taking care of your Dog(s).

I will always make sure my clients can rely on me to take care of their pup and give updates while they are away. I also believe in giving every dog special attention but in the way that they need it. I go out of my way to do whats best for you and your pet. Lastly, having everything organized and keeping on a schedule keeps your pup busy, happy and relaxed and also gives you a peace of mind. I also make sure to clean up daily, before arrivals, after departures and as soon as any accident occurs to keep my home clean and your pup safe.
Making YOUR Furrbabies HAPPY is my number ONE PRIORITY!

If you ever have any questions please feel free to ask!

I've made the decision to rate my experience with Jessica as "poor". I never like to do this but I want to be truthful and hope it helps others. First...if good communication, regular updates and pictures about your dog are important to you, you probably won't be happy here. After being reassured that updates and pictures would be forthcoming, I had to make several requests for them and finally on the third day of my four day trip I recv'd an email and one picture. Now the bad news...the email was to inform that one of her resident dogs had either bitten or scratched (it's obviously a bite) my dog on his snout but that it wasn't that bad, see picture. (It is pretty deep and may yet require a vet visit.) Also, when I picked him up, he was brought out onto the front porch with his harness haphazardly put on and no leash and given to me while his things were retrieved from in the house. As I waited he preceded to have what could be described as an asthma like attack. My dog is seven years old and never been sick. (This situation has not yet stopped and will probably require a vet visit.) Last but not least, she gave my dog benedryl without my permission or even an attempt to get my permission. Very disappointing.
By the way, the back yard is totally different than as pictured. I'm not sure that it is even in use for the dogs.
Although the meet and greet went well, I don't believe the services "advertised" were provided nearly to extent that they were promised.

Our Lilly had a wonderful stay at Jessica's. She was always quick to respond while we were gone. Lilly loved playing with the other dogs too. Jessica's patience with and love for dogs is very apparent!
