Hey there, I’m Jen! I am a working creative professional in Center City. I am a very active person, lifetime dog-lover, and I love my neighborhood in the beautiful, up-and-coming Spring Garden Arts District!
I decided to sign-up for Dogvacay because I love dogs, meeting new people, and being outdoors. I live by myself in a one-bedroom apartment in a decent-sized, renovated factory space, and I’ve always wanted to adopt a furry friend; then I came across this opportunity and I thought it would be a perfect fit.
This is what a sitting schedule looks like when you book with me during the week (if you need daycare sitting and overnighting): wake up for a bathroom break/ short morning walk around 6:30AM-7:30AM. I’ll be leaving for work and returning around 12:00PM-1:00PM for an hour lunch break before returning to work (I work in a very close vicinity to where I live). When I come home @ 5:15PM, we can go for a longer walk and play for the rest of the evening.
Weekends, I am available for full-time supervision with your dog, if that is when you choose to book.
For older dogs, there is an elevator in my building to avoid apartment stairs, although the majority of my floors are hardwood (there are some area rugs in the living room and bedroom) and there are a few steps for a walk-up to the front door.
I do not own any animals myself, but there are many other dog owners in the building and on my floor. There is a wonderful, fenced-in grassy area adjacent to the building for fetch and bathroom breaks, including nearby Franklin Square Park, the Art Museum, and the Schuylkill River Trail. I would be willing to watch multiple dogs if they are smaller-sized.
I am also available to walk dogs and make home-visits as needed around the area. I am very flexible and willing to accommodate to any special needs that you and your pet may have. And of course, please feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!
