Hello Pet Parents!
My name is Jen Mills and I am a 26 year old student at IU studying Business Administration and Psychology. I am taking courses entirely online, so I have plenty of time to devote to taking care of your dog(s)/cat(s) in my home or yours. I adore animals and have worked with over 80 dogs during the past 4 years. I spend most of my time at home, so your dog(s) will be my top priority when they come to stay with me. I have a beautiful, fenced-in backyard with a few shady areas, equipped with tennis balls and frisbees. The dogs love having a large open space where they can run free yet avoid getting dirty. It is the ideal place to play!
MORE ABOUT ME: I am looking forward to finishing my Psychology degree this spring and will continue to work on my Business Administration degree before pursuing a Masters degree. I am a very driven student and look forward to being able to give back to the world upon completing my education. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog, reading, staying active, playing piano, and attending church. I love learning new things, especially related to health. I am a people and pet person and truly enjoy making new connections via my pet sitting business!
EXPERIENCE: I have worked with over 80 different dogs, several cats, bunnies, fish, a pig, a bearded dragon, and a turtle! I am extremely flexible, reliable, patient, and passionate when it comes to providing top notch care for your furry friends! I strive to be the very best! Look no further if you are seeking a professional, committed pet sitter who will go the extra mile and then some!
I have a great deal of experience providing overnight and daycare services in my own home as well as traveling to the homes of pet parents. I am extremely neat and tidy and always clean up after myself. I have provided regular walking services for many dogs and am presently accepting new check-in and walking clients!
I have experience with everything from puppies to elderly dogs! I have assisted in training, light grooming (basic trims/bathing/brushing/clipping nails), managing moderate-severe separation anxiety, administering multiple medications, administering eye drops and ear drops, trips to the vet, as well as caring for existing injuries and dogs recovering from surgery. I am always seeking to learn new skills!
I am a master at cleaning up messes of all sorts but work to prevent them as much as possible! I am a very clean, organized, and detail oriented person!
COMMUNICATION: For security purposes, I will only be able to communicate via the Dog Vacay messaging interface until an official meet and greet has been booked. After establishing a secure connection, we can proceed to communicate via your preferred method of contact. Thank you for understanding!
GENERAL INQUIRIES: This is the best way to contact me. You can expect a response typically within 30 minutes and in no more than 3 hours. Communication is my top priority! I strive to be as prompt as possible!

We can always meet again briefly prior to the dates you are seeking care to review and update any information regarding your pet.
If you are seeking care on short notice, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Although my availability is more guaranteed with advance notice, I am occasionally available on short notice. In these cases, meet and greets may not realistic, and I am happy to talk with you over the phone.
During the meet and greet, we will go over paperwork to ensure all your dog's needs are covered. We will review my pamphlet regarding pricing and standard of care. I strive to provide my clients with the most professional, complete services.
Upon a meet and greet, I will send you a custom quote for your Vacay as discussed during our meeting. Quotes must be accepted within 48 hours, otherwise I will not be able to hold your spot.
