~ About Me ~
My name is Jenn, and I love animals! I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish as pets and I absolutely adore the energy that puppies and kittens bring to my home. I currently have a dachshund puppy that gets along very well with people and animals of all kinds. She, like most puppies and kittens, is so curious and has been exploring anything and everything. At this point, nothing phases me!
For that reason I am great with watching puppies which usually require a higher sitting fee and more time and energy. This is my every day life, so I charge the same for all pets young and old!
~ The Space ~
My apartment is right next to Banfield Pet Hospital and just down the street from an emergency animal hospital off-hours. I haven't needed to use emergency services yet, but the assurance that it is close by is great!
This apartment complex is extremely pet-friendly had has plenty of grass space for dogs to run and potty. There is also a quiet walking trail through the trees and neighborhood next to us which is great for getting energy out and allowing puppies and dogs to explore all this world has to offer!
The apartment itself has a great entryway/mud space for drying off after walks and potty breaks. Meals will be fed in the guest bathroom off the main entrance OR the kitchen. This guest bathroom also serves as a secluded space as needed when left alone, can be a great location for a bed of a pet prefers smaller, private spaces, and will be used to bathe pets as needed/requested.
~ Why Personalized Sitting is Best ~
Another great feature of having me a personal dog sitter is being able to bring beds and unlimited toys from home! Traditional boarding places limit personal belongings and require pre-portioned meals if you don't want your pet to eat the brand of food they provide. They also charge an administering fee for medication. It's outrageous!
I specialize in specific instructions for those pets that may need a little more care and attention to detail. I have years of experience pet sitting for dogs with several medical needs, and I am able to give oral medication as needed.
While I do not potty train pets as a service, I do have plenty of potty pads and potty-proof carpet that prevents soaking. This allows me to guide positive behavior, and I will offer treats and praise for puppies who make it onto the pad! All non-trained puppies will be taken outside every 2 hours from 8 am to 10 pm for a "potty break" as requested.
~ Introductory Special ~
I just moved to Oregon a few months ago, so I am rebuilding my client base. As I do this, I would like to offer introductory rates for your pets first service! All I request is honest feedback in an online review.
With your approval, I would like to take my services one step further and provide a 30 minute trip to one of the dog parks nearby included in each stay with me!
