About Jenna

I recently moved from renter to home owner (with my husband) and I am excited to offer my services and sanctuary for pet care! As dog lover and avid runner, I love to combine two of my favorite things.

The house is located in Fishtown (right around the corner from Whipped Bakery!) and has a medium gated/locked and fully enclosed (Concrete walls are approximately 7ft high, one wall is metal fence and door to alley way is metal fence) and accessible though side and rear doors of the house. Great for playing fetch and basking in the sun! The house also has central air to keep pets cool in the summer heat! There is also Palmer Dog Depot (an enclosed dog park) nearby, as well as Penn Treaty Park, a natural oasis and green space on the Delaware River.

I am an immigration paralegal and I work at a Center City firm. I grew up with a German Pointer mix and three cats. I loved hiking, kayaking, and running with my dog growing up. I have since dog/cat/house sat for two families in Chestnut Hill for up to 2 weeks at a time. I have also taken care of a friends dog and provided overnights at my house for up to 2 weeks at a time. I have also volunteered with Monster Milers in Graduate Hospital. This organizations partners local runners with dogs in shelters to provide the dogs with exercise and socialization while advertising their adopt-ability!

I love dogs and cannot wait to have one of my own! In the meantime, I am happy to help provide petcare services!

My dog certainly seemed to enjoy her stay with Jenna and Zach! Communication was really great and Jenna sent pics everyday, so I felt totally comfortable leaving them in charge. Will use again!
Jenna and her husband were amazing hosts! I was confident that Reilly was being cared. Jenna did a great job communicating with me and sending updates each day. I would absolutely have Reilly stay with them again!
Jenna is amazing! I highly recommend her services! She accommodated our requests and responded very promptly all our questions. Jenna picked up and boarded Yoalanda (our dog) for 1 night and we received picture updates and all, so cute!
Jenna was a wonderful and doting caregiver to our cat Obie during his 10-day stay! When we arrived to drop him off, she and her husband immediately asked all the right questions and kindly offered to show us around their lovely home so that we could get a sense of Obie's new digs. Jenna had even preemptively sequestered all her plants into one room! We got great pics and updates from her all week, and Obie returned home to us happy as a clam.
I'm usually nervous leaving my sometimes skiddish 3 y/o hound, Stout, with new sitters. But, right away Stout was comfortable with Jenna and in her home - it helped me get settled, too! Jenna's home is in a quiet location, off the main road with a small back patio, perfect for pups that don't like much commotion. The neighborhood has a lot of new development and there seemed to be many happy pups walking in the short time we spent there. Stout stayed one night and returned to us happy and relaxed. We'll be sure to visit Jenna again!
