Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting , boarding and walking for over 25 years. I am certified in Pet First Aid/CPR . I was given my first dog at 10 months old. I have owned, three yorkies, three maltese, an Irish Wolfhound, two poodles and a Golden Retriever. Dogs are my passion! I am reliable, honest and loving. I will care for your dog as if they were my dogs! My home will be their home away from home. I offer personalized care. I was a fundraiser/ raffle coordinator for Broadway Barks; an annual fundraiser/ adoptathon created by Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters, to benefit local New York rescue groups and shelters. We had over 30 groups participating and over 6,000 attendees. The event resulted in hundreds of dogs and cats finding forever homes.

Jamieson began caring for my puppy the week I brought her home and walked her everyday thereafter for 7 years. Because my dog has medical issues, she did more than just walk Darby, giving her medication every afternoon and constantly watching for any signs of illness. Jamieson truly loved Darby and took a real interest in her well being, letting me know if Darby seemed to be having a bad day so that we could do whatever was needed to make sure she was okay. Jamieson is reliable, dedicated and trustworthy. There is no doubt she loves the pets she cares for as her own, and they love her. I highly recommend her for all of your pet care needs.
Over the course of 10 years in NY Jamieson took excellent care of my Shih Tzu, Bijou and Havanese, Italia for day, overnight and many extended stays while I traveled. I could not have been happier with the level of care both dogs received. The real barometer was the happiness of my dogs. Both were so eager to be taken to Jamieson and when I picked them up I knew they had a great time and were well cared for. Most often Jamieson texted me daily pictures of the dogs that would make my heart sing with their unbridled joy. My dog's stays were fun vacations for them. I experienced total peace of mind that my dogs were attended to with the utmost of loving care, responsibility and reliability. Actually, Jamieson made it possible for me to be separated from my dogs. We were sad to see her leave NY. We miss her. Our loss is now Florida's gain!!!
Jamieson cared for my beloved miniature schnauzer, Marley, for 7 years. She took her on her daily walk as well as to the groomer and vet if requested. Jamieson also boarded Marley on an occasional weekend. I was always confident that Marley received the best care! Jamieson was aware of any changes in Marley's behavior and highlighted any concerns that she had. Jamieson was also very thoughtful, giving small gifts for birthdays and holidays to Marley and as well as my children. Jamieson is truly dedicated to her profession and we have missed her very much since she moved!!
