About Jamie

23 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello! I have loved and cared for a variety of dogs throughout my life. I currently have two dogs - one 6 year old black lab mix (Franklin) and a senior retriever mix (Charlie). They are both extremely friendly, and get along with everyone.

I currently stay at home with my two kids and would be happy to assist with watching your dogs while you are on vacation, travelling for work or if you have guests at your home. Since I currently stay at home, you can be assured that your dog will have all-day attention, care and supervision.

I will keep you updated daily on your dog's activities and well-being, and send you photos throughout their stay.

Your pups will have full access to our large backyard (6ft high wood privacy fence) whenever they want out for a romp or a potty break. Inside they are welcome to claim a comfy spot on a couch or a bed, and are allowed in most areas of the house. I live in a quiet neighborhood where we can all enjoy at least one nice walk a day.

Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Opus was taken care of over Thanksgiving and Jaime kept us updated with pictures and messages showing that Opus was relaxed and extremely comfortable with his stay. What a warm and friendly family to leave our dog with. We will definitely be back.
So happy I choose Jamie to watch my Great Dane pup. She kept me updated throughout my trip which put me as ease as he is my baby lol. Can't wait to use her in the future if need be.
I left my one year old German shorthaired pointer with Jamie for four nights. She has a fanced backyard and Zoey played with her dogs, Jamie kept me updated with text messages and photos as well. Yes I would recommend Jamie.
Jamie is absolutely awesome!! My dog Sergeant is epileptic and I have never left him with anyone before. I was so nervous that he wouldn't get his medicine on time and that something might happen when I was gone. It turns out I had nothing to worry about at all! Jamie sent me a text message each time she gave Sergeant his medicine. Who does that?? I was so relieved. She sent me pictures and updates and I just knew he was well taken care of. Her kids and dogs loved Sergeant and I'm pretty sure the feeling was mutual as he was such a happy dog when I picked him up. And he was all worn out from the playtime with Jamie's two dogs; that's always a nice plus! I highly recommend Jamie to anyone who is feeling nervous about leaving their best friend for a few days. Your dog will be in great hands!

Jamie was awesome with our dog, Finn. She gave him a lot of personal attention and updated me at least once a day on how he was doing. We will definitely go back to her in the future!
I really wanted this to be a positive experience as we just moved from out of state and were desperate to find a good sitter for our dog. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. A few hours into the day I received a text that my dog had been bitten. I was told it was bleeding and needed to be cleaned but it didn't seem to require medical attention. She stated that he was a little hesitant around the other dog but they were still playing together. Why? That dog just bit my dog and they have not been separated? She assured me that everything was fine and sent pictures of my dog laying in the grass. She also stated that she felt watching him the next day would be fine because she could separate the dog if there was any tension between them. Not ideal but necessary as I had no other sitter for my dog and my husband and I both work long shifts. After a very long day at work I sent her a text that I was on my way. When I get there she proceeds to tell me what a sweet and good boy my dog is. Then she casually mentions that maybe I should find someplace else for my dog because there was another incident an hour before I got there and he is now afraid of the dog that bit him. I was not informed of the second incident. Also, now my dog is being punished for being hurt. Plus, at 6:30 in the evening it was next to impossible to find another sitter. I called DogVacay and they were wonderful and very helpful but I was unable to find another sitter. Unfortunately,it was a very bad experience.

Jamie and her family were great with Noel. He had a rough week and she worked through it with him. thanks Jamie
I am a first time user of Dog Vacay. While trying to find the right fit for our dog, I searched through many bio's of care givers, on not only one site, but a couple. After going through well over a dozen different sitters, I came across Jamie's Doggy Bed & Breakfast. Before I even finished reading everything there about herself, her family, her home and pets, I knew that Jamie was the right person to care for our dog, who is the youngest of our four kids. (3 humans, 1 canine.. ?? Not just anyone can care for her. We come from a long line of animal caregivers, rescuers, and Veterinarians, but with a very last minute booked trip, we were forced to check into different options, rather than having a family member care for her. I was extremely nervous at first, but after I saw Jamie's post and viewed the pictures of her home, I knew I didn't want anybody else. To show how much I believed in her, you should know that I chose Jamie, who lives close to an hour away from us. To my complete surprise, because, I honestly have never even heard of a business like this before, I was even more blown away by Jamie and what she had to offer. Jamie and her family have massive hearts for, not only dogs, but all walks of animal life. The compassion Jamie showed for our girl, showed in her animals eyes. Her home, her yard, everything, was more than I could have imagined for our girl. Jamie and her family are A++ care givers! So happy I found her! Thank you Jamie! See you again soon!!

We had a very good experience leaving our small, blind dog, Coco, with Jamie for the day so that we could take a day trip without her. Jamie allowed us to drop her off early and pick her up late evening to accommodate our plans. We were pleased that she was willing to take extra precautions to insure Coco's safety because of her handicap. We would definitely call her again if traveling in that area in the future.

Very pleased with the outstanding service from Jamie my dog was treated like their own my dog had a great time always got updates with pictures my mind was at ease having my dog with jamie. I would recommend her service to anyone
Bella had a awesome time on her vacation. She loved playing with other dogs and getting all sorts of attention. She can't what to have her next vacation.
Jamie has a really nice home environment for the dogs. This was very important to us because we didn't want our "kids" to be kenneled. The daily updates were comforting as well.
Lily had a great time during her stay. She was exhausted from all the fun. Jamie sent updates during her stay to let me know how she was doing. I'm so happy that I found someone that will treat my baby the way she is treated at home. I can finally take vacations again knowing Lily is in good hands while I'm away. I've already booked another stay!

Everything was great. Cory came home happy and healthy and ready to go back again. I will definitely bring Cory back and highly recommend Jamie.
Jamie is the best sitter in town! She keeps on giving us updates about our Lexi. I don't know what Jamie did but when we got Lexi back after staying with her, Lexi has been so well-behaved and house-trained.
Jaxson loves going to doggy day care with jamie :)
Jamie was awesome with our dog Noel. She has a fenced backyard and little children that Noel loved. He was sad coming home.
