With five years of professional experience working with animals, you can count on Marisa and myself for all of your pet's needs while you are away. Most recently, I've worked for a pet-sitting and dog-walking business in Winter Park, Colorado. In the past, I've also managed a pet day care and lodging facility where I was responsible for up to 70 animals at a time. I've held multiple positions at the local Humane Society in Ann Arbor, MI where I was trained extensively in animal husbandry, vaccine and medication administration, safe handling of fearful animals, reading behavior and behavior intervention. I've also worked in the cruelty and rescue department handling sick/injured wildlife and assisted with cruelty investigations. I've worked closely with dogs, cats, reptiles, exotic birds, small mammals, and all sorts of wildlife. It's not uncommon for fearful pets to warm up to me quickly. Marisa is a life-long animal lover, and grew up taking care of cats and dogs. She assisted in my most recent pet-sitting job doing walks and in-home care.
We can do in house visits and walks or day care at our home, situated in Stoney Valley on an acre and a half of semi-wooded property within walking distance to Stoney Creek--a great space for dogs! We have a very friendly and playful 2 year old boxer mix named Albi and a cat, Gypsy.
We like to do an initial meet and greet to get to know each pet individually so we can provide the best experience possible.
Please get in contact if you have any questions. I am happy to provide a resume and/or references.
Thanks for reading, and we hope to hear from you!
