I enjoy taking care of dogs for the company, exercise, and love. I've taken care of dogs for years and recently become a foster volunteer. The reward is far more enjoyable than anything! Though my home is small, I am here throughout the day as I work from my house. I usually take the pups with me on errands, doggie parks, and sometimes work ( if allowed ! ). Their are two other smaller dogs on property from the neighbors, we all get along and always want to make sure the pups do too. It is a dog-friendly property!
Typical day starts off with a morning walk ( very, very important ), then come back home for breakfast. I'll work from home or attend a meeting, come back and do another walk in the afternoon. Around this time I am either out doing errands or home finishing up some projects. By dinner time, I like to set out for a night walk, very relaxing since the neighborhood is best at that time ( also is not very hot! ). We come home, get ready for bed and start the day over.
The reason I find walks so important is because since my yard is on the smaller side, the pups need to exercise and do their business out in the street. Also, my home is small so they need to get out and get some fresh air. It is very peaceful and tranquil here, something older dogs especially seniors enjoy very much. They are welcome to get on my couch and relax, as well as roam the entire space.
