About Angie

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
It really IS a dogs life around here.
We love every kind of dog but...

My 23 year old daughter and I live in a 3 bedroom single story house on a nice quiet street. When we are home (and I am usually always home) our dogs have open access to the fully secure back yard from the open sliding door.

Our dogs are friendly and like to share their sleeping space. They like to cuddle with one another. We have always been big advocates of crate training and for their own safety, when we are gone, they go to their "bed" which is a crate appropriate for their size. They also sleep there at night. This rule also goes for our guests. This keeps them from getting into things that they otherwise would not even consider when I'm around. LOL

We have had many dogs go through our home over the years as we have had 4 litters of 5+ each, so we are used to many paws at our feet.

For more information, send us a General Inquiry with your questions (even if it shows that we are booked).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**Note 1: Do to some unforeseen spinal health issues, we will only be accepting ONLY small to some medium size dogs.
**Note 2: We do not offer grooming services (unless your dog gets dirty while playing in our dirt yard). Please be courteous and bring your dog clean and nails trimmed as they are staying in our home. This will also make it easier for us to interact with them if we are not constantly getting scratched or cut by sharp nails. :)
**Note 3: You will see that we have not gotten the Background Check Badge. This is a new optional item from DogVacay. Since we have been with them from their first year and, most importantly, I did not feel comfortable with the amount of personal identification information they wanted sent to a company that I have never heard of, I have declined.
Angie was great, and our dog Scruffy had a good time on his vacay!
Bruno had a great time at Angie's home. They really cared about Bruno and we are already planning the next visit.
Very good with my dog. He left happy and healthy.
Angie lives very close to me...she was even willing to drop her off when we returned home. She has had experience with senior dogs so this was very helpful since Lily can't walk very well. I appreciated her cleaning her up when it was necessary as well!
I can't thank Angie enough, her and her daughter have been so great to me and my yorkie Sofie. She always gets back to me in a timely manner and has taken such great care of Sofie while I'm out of town. She's definitely a keeper, thanks Angie for all you do and helping me out in last minute binds. Your amazing and Sofie loves you, we'll be back!
Angie took care of our 12 year old, partially blind cocker spaniel. She was caring and took good care of him. We care for him deeply and wouldn't leave him with just anybody. We took him there for a meet and greet to see how he would react beforehand. Went well. He takes multiple pills and special diet food, so it takes a little more care than with younger dogs. No problems. Would recommend her to anyone.
This was the 1st time we've used such a service and were very apprehensive. Angie D put our mind at ease answering all our questions and keeping in touch with us daily. Both Angie D. and her daughter were awesome. Thank you for taking such good care of our babies.
My senior dog has a very sensitive stomach. Angie and her daughter worked with him and asked to switch his food to the kind their dogs were on when his stool was very runny. They also bathed him. Angie is also very instinctive with how to take care of dogs. She asked to double my pup's glucosamine dosage and it made a huge difference. After taking him home, I noticed he actually wants to play now. I would definitely use her again.
Angie was awesome . Had incredible advice about my puppy and my puppy left knowing new commands , she was very understanding of my late pick up . Absolutely great .
Angie was great from the very first message we exchanged, responded right away and was very interested in knowing all about our loved male yorkie Benji. You can tell she knows a lot about dogs and has a lot of experience with them.
This was the first time I used dogvacay and definitively will leave him again with her.
She kept me updated and when we picked him up he was completely normal and safe as if we never left.
She also offered to meet us in a mid potint next time since we live a little bit far from Corona, she's very flexible and has a great attitude. Totally recommend her ;)
Kaia returned home happy and healthy. Angie is very flexible if your plans change. Thanks for taking good care of my baby.
Okay doggie mamas and papas, if you want the best, Angie is it! You will not find someone so invested in the well being of your precious family member other than Angie. I can't believe my luck. I had to suddenly take her out of Yorba Regional boarding (I spared no expense, but she kept getting ill from other dogs) and turned to Dogvacay for sudden placement. My beloved Raven turned out to be quite high maintenance and Angie stepped up to the plate and is handling it. All of Raven's unexpected needs, Angie accommodated: on Christmas! No heart is that generous except for those rare hearts we hear of, but rarely see. I was scheduled for pickup tomorrow and would of if I didn't completely trust that Raven is in the best hands right now. I am extending a week more. I am so, so grateful to Angie. Thank you, Angie, for being my little Christmas miracle for my most precious baby.
Not a good match for my 16 year old frail, 6lb, senior, special needs chihuahua.....Okay for my rescued stray, overweight, 4 year old chihuahua mix.
Pros:
Angie was very accommodating and agreed to pet sit on short notice. She also met us on our way to the airport near her freeway exit.
Angie did notify and mentioned some issues; diarrhea my senior had, inability to walk/stand my senior had, some hot spots my senior developed.
And what she did to try and solve those issues.
No issues with my younger chihuahua mix.
Cons:
My senior chihuahua was not in the same condition as I dropped her off.
I can not fault Angie entirely as I am aware that my senior is frail and needs special care. I came home early from my trip due to my concerns.
Angie was unavailable for a pre-stay meeting. So, my first meeting was the morning I dropped "Max" off. I had to trust that she was up to the reviews I read. When I met her she seemed very nice and fond of her wards. I left "Max" with her for a week while I vacationed. When I came back, "Max" was in good shape and healthy. Tonight he is home and happy. Angie seems to have taken good care of my little dog. I'd use her service again, if needed.
Angie took great care of our dogs. She sent photos to keep us updated.
Angie was a wonderful host for Doogie and Daisey Mae! She was quick to respond to a request for a meet-&-greet which I appreciated as it was a last minute request. It's very clear that Angie and her daughter loves animals; they were so caring towards Doogie and Daisey and made them feel right at home. I highly recommend Angie.
One of my dogs was a bit-hesitant- to stay, but later on she warmed up. Angie sent me pics and both dogs looked like they'd warmed up. After my travel both my dogs came back looking happy and healthy! I would use Angie again.
She is very nice, good communication, friendly. my dog is happy and active when I pick him up.
Angie took care of our little one for 3 weeks. It was the first time she would be away from us for so long. I was a little worried about her, but Angie took great care of her. I think my she may have enjoyed living with Angie more than me!
I would definitely use Angie again because my dog was very comfortable with her.
We were very leary about leaving our puppy because this was the first time. Angie was great with every detail. I would highly recommend her.
I boarded my dogs for a night with Angie and she took really good care for both of them. they came home really happy the next day. thanks Angie!
Angie has taken care Gorio like her own. When he needed medical care she brought him to the vet and he got better. I will leave my dog to her with no hesitation. She loves dogs and it shows. Gorio is happy and felt loved. Thanks Angie.
We decided to use Angie's services again ..and she was great (again) for alot of reasons. First, she is extremely flexible on the drop off and pickup time for our Chloe. Due to work, I had to change our drop off time a few times and she was very nice about it and accomodated us. However, that was not the best thing that occured.... we orginally agreed to have Angie dogsit our Chloe for 5 days. Due to last minute incident where a family member wanted to and was able to dogsit Chloe. ..I had to call Angie and let her know that our friend was picking up Chloe and we won't be requiring the extra 4 days. Not only did Angie understand and accomodated the pickup but she called DogVacay.com for us and requested a refund for the remaining days. That was awesome and so nice of her! Thank you, Angie. We will definitely use your service again.
Angie has taken care of Gorio a couple of times already. The only reason I keep going back to her is I felt the love she has for the dogs. If there's love,there is caring then there is my happy gorio.
Angie was an awesome friend to our dogs! Our two large dogs are elderly and needed a little special care that she was more than happy to give them. I was completely confident that they would be well taken care of. THANK YOU ANGIE!
Angie took real good care of Bella while I was gone. she was there for 5 days and came back a happy puppy :) will use again for services , Again thank you Angie
Angie is great with dogs. She really took care of our pet. I highly recommend her services.
Angie is a very devoted animal person. When I went to the meet and greet my miniature doxie took to her right away. I left Jasper with her for a few days and he didn't even fuss when I left him. He met a little poodle and they became friends and hung out together. When I picked him up he was a happy camper and gave Angie a kiss goodbye. I will take him back to her when I travel and would tell my friends about her.
They were great....unfortunately they are in the opposite direction that we usually travel, but if we head that way we will see her again.
Hi Angie, Thank you for watching our Chloe for about a week. We missed her very much but had peace of mind that she was in good hands with you. I appreciated the flexibility of the drop off time for our Chloe. The photos and video you sent us while we were away made our kids very happy to know that our Chloe was having a good time. You did not hesitate to do that for us when we asked for them. Thank for your warm handling our Chloe days after being spayed and your help in giving her meds when she needed some. You and your daughter are true dog lovers and it was easy to see. I will definitely recommend your service to other friends and would use your services again. Thank you!!
Thanks again Angie for the care and attention you give the girls. I appreciate the pick-up/drop-off flexibility.
Angie was a fabulous sitter for my 10 month old puppy - she's intuitive and knowledgeable about caring for dogs, and she has a wonderfully kind heart. My puppy was happy and had fun staying at Angie s place. .. Would definitely bring her back!
Thanks Angie, aka life saver! Came back home to 4 happy pups with updates all along the way. Couldn't have been better, again. Would book again on a whim!
I was nervous to leave our pooch for the first time.....but Angie loves dogs..... It's apparent when you first meet her! She even bathed our girl right before we picked her up at no additional charge!
Angie is clearly crazy about dogs! Trixie enjoyed her time there and was well taken care of!
As always Angie provided excellent care! Her home has become our dogs second home. I never worry about them when we are on vacation and I will use her again and again.
Angie is great with our dog! I was very happy with her services. This is the 2 Nd time we have left our golden with her and we would do it again.
Angie is wonderful! My dogs had never been away from us and she made sure they felt safe and secure. She is truly a dog lover and I will take my dogs back to her again and again without hesitation.
Thanks Angie. The girls seem well cared for and we appreciate your update/communications while away; they helped us relax and enjoy our trip.
Angie was great!! My dog didn't want to leave. He was treated like family. I would recommend her to all my friends.
Angie was great!! My dog didn't want to leave. He was treated like family. I would recommend her to all my friends.
Angie is such a sweetheart - so good to our puppy. Though our puppy was anxious and probably cried through the night, if Angie will have her again :) , i would not hesitate to drop her there the next time we are out for the weekend. Thanks.
I recommend Angie a million times over!! My Dogs are my babies and I use Angie's services fairly regularly. Angie is extremely flexible and my Dogs adore her and her daughter. I couldn't imagine leaving my babies in the care of anyone else.
I brought my two dogs to Angie's home for two days and would do it again in a heartbeat. She went above and beyond to take care of my dogs. I highly recommend her and give her the top 5 star rating. She loves dogs and people, so she is very interested in making sure everyone is happy. I found her on dogvacay and decided to use her based on her great reviews. She is very easy to communicate with and replies promptly to email and texts. I will definitely bring my dogs back!!
My dogs liked staying at Angie's house and playing with her dogs. She kept me updated on how my dogs were doing throughout my trip.
Angie was beyond amazing. We went out of town for business for 4 days and we had never left our two Pups behind. Angie took the time to get acquainted with me and my two Frenchies before leaving them with her and they took a liking to her right away. We felt incredibly comfortable going out of town and leaving Bentley and Stella in her care. While Away we got daily updates and pictures which really made our trip less stressful since we knew we didn't have to worry about our babies. She was also not concerned about taking in our 7 month old puppy which was a relief to us.Our trip away didn't even seem to phase our dogs, they seemed happy as ever when we picked them up. I would definitely recommend Angie to anyone who is concerned about leaving their Pups for days, weeks or even hours. She comes highly recommended from us and we will definitely be using her services in the future.
Angie and her daughter are just plain good folks.This was my first time and was nervous about leaving my baby Molly. I had a great mini vacation and didnt need to worry about my Molly. Angie is a true dog lover and genuine person. My Molly came back clean and healthy. She will take your dog in and make them comfy case by case. The rates she charges far exceed her quality of care. She and her daughter our our new friends and I wouldnt be hesistant to recommend her to anyone who needs some time off of the daily grind. Thanks to them, I know Molly will have somewhere to go when needed. Thanks too Angie and her daughter! Well see you soon.
Angie was a great host. She is a true dog lover, with 6 dogs of her own. Her house has a back yard and the dogs get to play outside. Tofu enjoyed his stay!
Angie is awesome! I called for a last minute booking and she was very easy to work with. She is a true dog lover and I think my dog had a great time at her house. I would definitely recommend her!
Angie and her daughter came to do a meet and greet for an upcoming in-home visit. I am a breeder and I had a litter of newborn puppies that needed attending to. It was very comforting to find out that Angie and her daughter have had first hand experience with raising newborn puppies. Just in speaking with her, it was clear that she is very experienced with a variety of dog breeds and has a wealth of dog knowledge in general. It was obvious that her and her daughter work together as a team and both have a passion caring for dogs. She and her daughter did a wonderful job for me and my dogs. I'm looking forward to booking her in the future with the next litter.
