Friends like to call me the dog whisperer. I prefer to think of myself as a canine conversationalist. It's one thing to whisper to dogs. It's another to teach others how to have a conversation.
A die-hard dog person, I moved from San Francisco to Las Vegas in 2013 to open the Hydrant Club - a membership access facility offering behavioral & obedience training (for dogs and people ), educational seminars, speakers series events, as well as an outdoor play space and day care/playgroups. Of course, Truman, Bridger and Inigo Montoya also love having friends around so we welcome doggie guests to stay over too.
Besides getting the benefit of being a guest at the Hydrant Club's private park space, our guests get to join me and my pack for hikes at Mt. Charleston and in Red Rock as well as trips to Lake Mead for a swim.
Before accepting a potential dog I require an advance screening interview - both for behavioral/temperament testing of the dog as well as insuring that they are compatible with my existing pack. For this reason, last minute bookings are not possible unless you're a previous guest.
My philosophy is simple - happy dog = happy owner. And trust me, when your dog comes home, they'll be so happy that if you had a tail you'd wag it too.
