About S L

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Aida and I have cared for and trained horses, dogs, cats, and birds all our lives. We have three dogs whom we adopted and trained ourselves. We love to help people and animals get along better. It has been said that the best reward for a well-trained animal is the ability to include your pet, or to be included as a pet, in all aspects of the family life. We live in Chestnut Hill in a big house with a large, grassy, fenced-in yard. Dogs are welcome here for daycare or overnights. We also walk dogs: we visit dog parks, lakes, and go trekking in the woods. What sets us apart from other pet care givers is the following: we create a lesson-plan for walking, training, and day/overnight care that works for both you and your dog, doing training interventions with your dog while he/she is with us. Thus, you will see gradual and long-lasting change in your dog as he/she develops a relationship with us and the rest of our pack. If you have a horse needing grooming, lunging exercise, riding, or just socialization, please let us know! We look forward to meeting you and your animal friends soon!
Extra Notes: WE LOVE BORDER COLLIES, AUSSIES, AND HERDING DOGS. They will get a great workout here, and agility is also an option.

Sydney and Aida have a special gift with dogs. They are kind and caring and make you feel confident that your pet is in good hands. Our dog had a great time in their care and came home happy and tired. Thank you so much.
Fred was so happy, and so professionally handled. Thanks !
Sydney is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable and amazing with dogs. Our fur baby adored her! We recently had a training session with Sydney and play time with her sweet dogs and it couldn't have gone better. She is wonderful! She also has a huge, fenced in back yard and beautiful home with great space for playing and comfy sleeping. Sydney's warm and welcoming personality make everyone and their fur baby feel right at home.
Frankie had a such good time with Sydney!!
Sydney was delightful to work with. She is easy going, friendly and clearly loves animals. She was great with communication and shared pictures while I was away so I could see how comfortable my pup was in her beautiful home - inside and out. I highly recommend her.
Sydney is caring and very friendly, and her house is a wonderful playground for dogs, including a huge back yard with place to play. Ideal for a dog like mine who loves to play with other dogs. My dog came home happy and exhausted, which is pretty much the ideal outcome.
Our dog can be quite shy and reserved with new people, so i was worried about how she would do with boarding. My fears were misplaced! When I picked her up 4 days later, I found a very happy dog that was happy, healthy and clearly enamored with Sydney. On top of that, Sydney had worked on some training with her such that her recall was better than ever. Wow!
I would recommend Sydney again in a heart beat
This was my dogs first experience with Sydney and her pups. Sydney made my dog feel welcome and gave Maggie got lots of personal attention and affection. Sydney even sent me pictures of Maggie during the day, so I was reassured my pup was doing well. Thank you.
Sydney was great. She was attentive, caring and responsible. I don't know what more you can ask than that.
Sydney was very gentle and caring with my Havanese, Angus, who loved Sydney almost immediately and became a member of her (3-dog) household. Angus can be picky with people and other dogs... but he felt right at home. I would definitely have Sydney care for Angus again!
Sydney is super friendly and easy to make arrangements with. Abby spent the day at her house with her 3 dogs. When I came back to pick her up she was happy and acted as one of the pack. I'm sure she would enjoy a return stay.
Sydney is great! I boarded my two dogs overnight with her and it couldn't have gone better. Both of my dogs are timid around new people, with one in particular being very skittish. Within a few hours Sydney was sending me pictures and videos of the dogs letting her approach and pet them, running around her big back yard, and playing with her three dogs. They were exhausted when I brought them home from all the exercise and playing they had gotten at her house.
